This were on offer a couple of weeks ago so being a sucker for a bargain and being a fan of crisps I thought I would give them a try. The flavour I bought and am reviwing is the original flavour. New from Walkers these crisps are in a attractive pack consisting of a pleasant purple colour with a picture on the pack of the crisps and lime and coriander and chutney picture. So with a well-designed pack I was looking forward to trying the crisps and for once I wasn't disappointed. These crisps have a pleasant crunchy taste to them and have a pleasant tangy sweet taste that rolls off your tongue. The aroma and taste of all of the flavours is very pleasant and ... Sometimes when you see something that nearly takes your eye out, you have to stop and stare and take in the view. I was eye popped the other day by something that stood out a mile and it happened in the supermarket. There was I, just minding my own business when all of a sudden I was confronted by a giant stack of eye popping poppadoms. Being so drawn to the bright colours I popped one in my basket without even looking at the price. (To people who know me, I bet you thought I was stood near the freezer section, didn't you? Oh the hazards of being a woman in a chill). ** Stop and stare ** Walkers made me buy these poppadoms. Their packaging and marketing ... Read the complete review

** Once upon a time... ** Well, I am sure that most people have heard of the famous Walkers crisps. If you don't... then you should do! They have been around long enough that's for sure. During 1954 in Leicester A butcher called Henry Walker (well that tells you where the brand name comes from!) made the first ever flavoured crisp. Cheese and Onion! (This is my favourite by the way!) Now the odd thing was, this Walker guy was a butcher, so why did he make crisps?? Well, around 1948 meat was very scarce due to the rationing of the Second World War and he decided to try his hand at cooking slices of potato in order to raise a little extra income. Abracadabra, it ... Read the complete review

Walkers are a long established maker of Crisps, having been around for 60 years now . Originally, Henry Walker took over a butchers shop, but when meat rationing came into force during the second world war, he had to look for alternative ways of making an income . Crisps were starting to become popular then, so he began making his own, the first flavour being cheese and onion . Over the years, the brand has grown, introducing many more flavours - from salt and vinegar right up to cajun squirrel. In the last few years, they've also bought out the 'Sensations' range of crisps and snacks, which had a more adult, sophisticated feel For new years, I held a party at ... Read the complete review

In my opinion Walkers crisps have outdone themselves with their new Walkers Sensations crisps. Walkers crisps have been around now for well over 60 years now. A gentleman called Henry Walker took over a butchers shop in the 1880's but after the second World War he saw production go down and had to look for other ways to make money. He began hand-slicing and frying potatoes and sold them as potato crisps, the first flavour being Cheese and Onion. Now there are so many flavours and varieties to choose from. I recently bought a packet of their Lime and Coriander Chutney Poppadom bites as they were in a big bag and perfect for serving at our Christmas ... Read the complete review
