I'm sure regular readers of my reviews won't be shocked to see yet another crisp review by me. However, these aren't ordinary crisps, oh no! These are special, posh crisps, these are Sensations by Walkers. Everything about these crisps is posh, from the sensual black packaging to the delightful illustration on the front of the bag; quality and premium scream out at you. You are told that these crisps are made with "real" ingredients including "scrumptious" chicken which is "paired with carefully selected herbs and lemon and then roasted to perfection" At £1.49 for a bag of "Roasted Chicken and Thyme" ... Sensations Roasted Chicken And Thyme Whenever I am hungry shopping, these are the first pack of crisps that I look for. I've tried both the 160g bag and the 40g bag, cleverly noticing that they taste the same! I'm ashamed to say that when I first tried the 160g bag, I ate the whole bag in one because they tasted so nice. I buy these a lot from a Home Bargains shop located near to where I live and they offer them at a very good price. I would say that one of the main aspects that drew me to them to start with was the packaging. It's smart and relatively simple with a large S on the front of the packet, at the centre of the S there is a farm scene with a ... Read the complete review

Whilst out shopping the other day I was looking for a bag of crisps as a treat, the Walkers Sensations crisps leapt out at me as the packaging looked very posh and they were very cheap in Tescos at 77p for a 160g bag which I think is very good value. The packaging is black with a very lively S which is green and yellow in colour and is filled with a picture of the ingredients such as thyme, lemons, chicken and there is a trumpet on the top of the S. When you open the bag you can instantly smell a really lovely chicken smell with a hint of lemon and the herbs. It says on the back of the bag that these are a thicker cut crisp but to me they ... The 'Sensations' range of crisps are made by Walkers. Famously launched by the Gary Linekar and Victoria Beckham advert back in 2002 these crisps have gained a reputaion as 'posh' crisps (hence V.Beckham) and this 'poshness' is certainly reflected in the packaging which gives the crisps an 'up market' and attractive appeal. I brought my Roast Chicken and Thyme 'Sensations' packet (160g) from Somerfield for £1.65 on a 'buy one get one free' deal. ~Packaging~ Sensations first appeared in 2002 and at that time they were packaged in white bags now you will find find them in a glossy black bag with their trademark 'artistic' S across ... A few weeks ago, I reviewed Walkers Sensations southern BBQ flavour crisps, and whilst the offer continued at Tesco (73p at the time for a 160g bag), I opted to try a different flavour, since I wasn't over the moon about the bbq variety. On this occasion I purchased the Roasted Chicken and Thyme flavour, and I was pleased to find the flavour much more to my liking. As with other flavours in the Walker Sensations Crisp range, there are: no artificial sweeteners no artificial flavours no preservatives no artificial colours On the reverse of the bag, Walkers describe these crisps as 'sumptuous.......paired with ...
