Advantages: Very tasty, Nicer flavours, Better quality crisps
Disadvantages: A bit pricy
These days, there are a wide variety of crisps available in shops, in nearly every flavour, too. Walkers seem to be the biggest-selling makers of crisps in the UK, and as well as their regular crisps, you can now buy Walkers 'Sensations'.
These are Walkers very best crisps, made from the best ingredients and also in a variety of delicious flavours that vary from just the usual cheese and onion, salt and vinegar, or smoky bacon. 'Sensations' have been available for a couple of years now, and come in flavours such as Thai Sweet Chilli, Four Cheese and Red Onion, Slow Roasted Lamb and Mint, Chatgrilled Steak and Peppercorn Sauce, and Oven Roasted Chicken and Thyme - it is this flavour that I will be tasting for this review.
The packets of 'Sensations' are white, and have a picture of a field and basket of potatoes, below this is a picture of the relevant type of food used in each pack - in this case, roasted chicken sprinkled with thyme; there is also a picture of the crisps themselves on the front, as well as the familiar Walkers logo. On the back, there is the information about the crisps, including nutritional info, ingredients, and the flavours that are available.
Opening the bag, the smell of the crisps is quite strong, and very pleasant! They also look very nice too - no burnt crisps, or tiny broken crisps to be found, either. Tasting the crisps, they taste nice, there is a strong taste of chicken, not so much of the thyme, and the crisps themselves are very crunchy, more so than normal crisps, and don't break as easily when bitten.

A bag of Chicken and Thyme Flavour Sensations contain ingredients such as potatoes, vegetable oil, chicken and thyme flavourings, and salt. A 40g bag of these will cost around 45p, depending on where you buy them from. The Sensations variety of crisps are available from pretty much any supermarket or food store, but may vary in cost. There are also bigger bags of every flavour available, too.
Overall, I was very impressed with these crisps, they do taste better than any regular crisps, including Walkers own 'regular' ones besides Sensations. Sensations also have a bigger variety too, and I have tried several of the other flavours besides chicken and thyme, and most of them are nice and the flavours of each are more prominent than in normal crisps.
Even though they can cost a little more, I still think they are fairly good value for what you are buying. If you get a chance to try these, then do, as they are very tasty and probably worth paying a bit more for a better quality crisp.
Thanks for Reading! :-)
