Advantages: delicious, great taste
Disadvantages: leave you wanting more!!!
Now I am not going to go on about the history of Walker's crisps and the development of the Sensations range, because frankly it's not that interesting. What you do wanna know is how do these crisps taste and do they measure up to other crisps out there?
Walker's advertise Sensations as Posh crisps. They are specially prepared crunchier crisps in a range of indulgent flavours. These include:
1. Four Cheese and Red Onion
2. Thai Sweet Chilli
3. Slow Roasted Lamb and Mint
4. Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper
5. Chargrilled Steak and Peppercorn Sauce
6. Oven Roasted Chicken and Thyme
7. Roasted Onion and Balsamic Vinegar...
... to name just a few. Sensation's are also available as Oriental Crackers in a variety of flavours.
The names are enough to make you drool!
Frankly I think Walker's Sensations are indeed sensational. They are definitely a chip above the rest and the flavours are unique. These crisps are crunchy and SO moreish.
Thai Sweet Chilli is my personal favourite. The taste is just awesome - you get that deliciously sweet yet spicy flavour that leaves you wanting more.
These crisps go great with a lot of dips too, although I would stick to a simple dip such as cheddar and chives - sounds odd but they compliment each other quite well.
The downfall of Sensations is probably their cost as a small bag will cost you 40-55p depending on the supermarket, whereas a normal packet of crisps will cost you about 30p. I must emphasise though that sensations small bag is in fact larger (40g) than the average packet of crisps (~28g) so you do get a bit more. Never mind that the taste is worth paying for in itself.
Sensations are great chips for parties and functions due to the fact that they are available in so many flavours - there is bound to be something for everyone. They don't have that 'cheap' taste either, the crisps are of a high standard and if they do not meet your satisfactory needs Walker's are happy to refund you.
Well I hope this has been helpful, although it is always best to try the product for yourself. If you do not try these crisps you have not lived and are missing out. Don't waste your time on reliable plain salted or cheese and onion crisps be daring and try something different. You will not look back!
Summary: These crisps will have your mouth-watering and leave you wanting more!
