Advantages: Traditional packaging

Disadvantages: chemical flavour overwhelms you

These are one of the strangest tasting crisps in the world, whenever I have a packet of smoky bacon crisps I always think of Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory because the overwhelming sensation for me is that they don't taste of bacon, smoky or not, they may smell of bacon but they do taste of chemical flavouring unfortunately.

With the traditional Walkers packaging these can be bought in shops, pubs, supermarkets and within value packs which seems to be their most popular place nowadays.

Created by Walkers Crisps, the leicester based business which has made some wonderful crisps over the years, namely their cheese and onion and salt and vinegar flavours, this is one of their more niche products.

Smoky bacon crisps seem slightly out of touch with todays market and are kind of a 70's crisp, they lack marketing, taste and I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped making them soon.
