Advantages: A great taste
Disadvantages: None for me but others may find the smell overpowering
My favourite flavour of crisps has always been Smoky Bacon. I don't know why but for some reason they have always been the bag that I will reach for given the chance. Now I must admit that I'll eat the majority of crisp brands but I personally find that it is Walkers Smoky bacon Crisps that come out on top every single time.
Walkers have been producing crisps since 1948 and are both a well-known and well-loved brand. They produce numerous flavours, which include the classic ready salted, Salt and Vinegar and Cheese and Onion as well as the less common tomato sauce, Worcester sauce and roast chicken.
Walkers Smoky Bacon crisps come in a maroon coloured packet and are always noticeable amongst the other crisp packets. The front of the packet has the iconic Walker's logo printed in prime position about a picture of some delicious looking crisps. Also on the front are the words Smokey Bacon, as you would expect, which are written in a luxurious gold. The information that the crisps are made using Sunseed Oil is also positioned on the front.
The back of the packet then contains a list of ingredients and the nutritional values for the crisps, which I have reproduced below.

The second you open the crisp packer, which is foil sealed for freshness, an amazing bacon scents attacks your nose and invades your senses. The smell seems to wrap itself around you and draw you into the bag whereupon you can see that the packet is relatively full of reasonably sized and even shaped crisps that are a rich golden colour and dusted with a light brown flavouring.
The taste of these crisps is truly sublime in my opinion and nothing else ever comes close to give you the same taste experience. The smoky taste of the crisps is subtle yet evident and the bacon flavouring is plentiful and consistently shared amongst the crisps in the packet. Even after the crisps have been completely swallowed the sweetness of them stays in your mouth for a long time and the smoked bacon filters through this making certain that you have your fill.
Walkers Smoky Bacon are popular with both myself and my dad in my house, as we both love the taste but my brother and mum aren't particularly fond of them and feel that the bacon smell is a little strong and off putting. Personally I cannot agree with this opinion but each to their own - thankfully mine is to east Walkers Smoky Bacon crisps like they're going out of fashion.
Summary: Superb taste that makes me want more and more and more
