Advantages: Each crisp is heaven!
Disadvantages: Not enough per pack
Now it's fair to say I'm not a huge fan of crisps as a rule- if there are none in the house I won't break into cold sweats and rock back or forth- however if I have Walkers Bacon Crisps in my cupboard I do get a bit giddy and often eat two or three packs straight after each other (Ooh I am a devil!).
After perusing the aisles of my local supermarket recently I noticed said crisps were on offer for £1.25 for a multipack of six- bargain! I snapped some up and took them home to feed my sneaky addiction so to speak..
So why do I like them so much?
The taste~
I love Walkers bacon flavour and though they do have a nice bacon taste they are not overpowering and too strong which I find with other brands.
The packaging~
The packets are a maroon colour with "Walkers" lettering in white at the top and "Smoky Bacon" in the middle in black with a picture of a potato cut into slices and morphing into crisps.
The bag is 25g and though you don't get a lot of crisps per pack the ones you do get are of the highest quality and are cooked in sunseed oil, so are lower in saturates.
The Price~
This will really vary from shop to shop but they normally seem to be around £1.69 for a multipack though mine were on offer from Asda at £1.25, so prices will vary.
Summery~
These are probably the nicest of the Walkers range in my opinion but everyone has there own favourite. The only thing I don't like is the fact once you open the packet you only get about 7 crisps! Apart from that not a bad word to say on them, make your own mind up...
Summary: Give 'em a go!
