Advantages: they have a distinct taste

When buying and eating crisps I don't usually go for the BBQ type flavours and I usually just go fro salt and vinegar in most crisps especially when it comes to walkers as these are my favourite walkers flavour, however from time to time, when I fancy something a bit different the smoky bacon flavour is a good choice.

The flavour is very similar to the BBQ flavour that a lot of crisps have however it does taste a bit lighter. They are meant to taste like smoky bacon and I'm not sure whether or not they really taste like bacon, but then again do you really want your crisps to taste exactly like bacon any way.

There is a very distinct smoke kind of hint to the crisps though, like the kind of hint you get when food is cooked on the barbeque, I think this is what makes these so different in taste to similar crisp flavours.

In terms of the crisp quality they are walkers and so they are pretty good, however being walkers means you also don't get that much in a pack which is a shame as I could always eat more of these. They are about the same price of the other walkers crisps at around 35-40p which isn't bad and I always enjoy these whenever I get them.
