Premium Review Walkers Sun Bites - Sun Ripened Sweet Chilli: Delicious Wholegrain Snack (366 words)

These crisps (wholegrain snacks) are my new favourite snack! They taste amazing and are reasonably healthy for you, two for the price of one! These snacks are one of Walkers best, apart from the obvious original crisps. They are a healthy alternative to a loved snack, and still taste good too. ---Packaging & Price--- The crisps can either be bought separately or in a multi-pack. In a multi-pack you get 6 packets and they cost £1.67 from my local Waitrose, I was unable to find them in Tesco. The packets are a bright orange on the bottom half and on the top half is a picture of a meadow and sky. The name Sun Bites in next to the Walkers logo ...  Read the complete review

Well, I'm still fighting the flab and on the whole I'm getting there - 10lbs lost in about two months - But I'm aiming for another 11lbs off. I have been eating quite a lot of these Walkers Sun Bites in the Sour Cream and Black Pepper flavour (as a substitute for other less healthy snacks, not just eating quite a lot of them!!), but the other day I spotted a NEW variety in Boots - Sun Ripened Sweet Chilli, so into my meal deal they went (along with 3-cal cream soda and Shapers sushi!!) Walkers Sun Bites come in a normal 28g crisp packet with an ever-so-wholesome countryside image of fields and trees on the front, which, along with the THREE references to ...  Read the complete review

I love snacking, I know I shouldn't but sometimes I get a real attack of the munchies and have to find something to stop the craving! I do like chocolate but sometimes I like a savoury treat and that is where Walkers Sunbites come in. The Sun Ripened Sweet Chilli flavour is presented in a mainly red bag. There is a good representation of the snack itself and also some ginger and chillis on the front. The top part of the bag shows an idyllic country scene to make you think of all good natural things! The bright colour makes them easy to spot in the supermarket. These snacks sell themselves on being healthier than your normal crisps. ...  Read the complete review

Sunbites are from Walkers and as they say "they are deliciously light and crispy wholegrain snacks made with whole oats, whole wheat and whole corn, every bag of sunbites provides more than 1/3 of the suggested daily amount of wholegrains. They contain no artificial colours or preservatives. Sunbites also contains 30% less fat than regular crisps". This review is on their new flavour Sun Ripened Sweet Chilli. Ingredients Wholegrains (67%), sunflower oil (18%), rice flour (13%), sugar, sun ripened sweet chilli flavour, salt. There is a warning that it may contain traces of barley due to farming practices.
