Advantages: Feels naughty
Disadvantages: People pinch them
I needed a snack that felt naughty but was actually reasonably healthy.
So I was glad to discover Walkers Original SunBites, a wholemeal snack which certainly doesn't taste like they only contain 118 calories for the 25g bag.
This bag of yumminess contains thirty percent less fat than an "ordinary" packet of crisps which together with the low calorie content ticks the right boxes for a healthier snack.
Not only that but these bites are bursting with fibre and nutrients.
The main ingredients are corn, oats and wheat prepared with sunseed oil, they contain in one bag a third of your suggested daily wholegrain intake, if that sounds too healthy to be tasty, then you would be mistaken.
They are not crisps, but if crisps are a weakness of yours and you need a healthy alternative - then these should definitely be on your next shopping list. I paid £2.50 for two six packs in Sainsbury, but when not on offer they are £1.56 per pack- which is good value.
They could easily be used with a dip, or on their own as a " I have got the munchies" snack. Great too, as a healthy lunch box addition.
Each bag contains
118 calories
1.9g of sugar
5.6g of fat
0.6g of saturates
0.3g of salt
It's like having a packet of crisps, without the accompanying guilt.
Summary: Packed with goodness
