When you fancy a bacon butty you've got to get the right bacon, sometimes I'll use whatever my mum's got in the fridge but if I'm feeling flush I'll pop to the shop and get a packet of Walls smoked bacon because it's the best available.

I do mine under the grill because I'm not mad keen on fried food and it always comes out wicked and I've never managed to burn it or serve a half raw bacon butty even though I'm not the best cook in the world! lol

I like this bacon because the slices are quite thin and there's hardly any fat on them. You don't get none of that gungy white stuff that comes out of cheap bacon, what is that anyway??? Bleugh!!!

The little bit of fat on the bacon goes nice and crispy and I leave it on because it cooks so nice, usually I take the fat off because on a lot of bacon it either goes like charcoal or stays stringy but with Walls it just cooks wicked.

The bacon is smoked proper nice, it's perfect actually and the flavour goes wicked with brown or red sauce. I usually eat it in butties but sometimes I have it on a plate with bacon or I cut it up when it's cooked and put it in soup.

It's the best bacon there is in my opinion and even though it's thin it tastes proper meaty and tastes loads better than any other bacon. It's easy to overcook so you have to be a bit careful but if you get it right then the bacon will be delish.

It's quite expensive, my local shop charges £2.89 for 8 rashers and that's more than bacon from the supermarket but it's loads better and worth the extra cost I reckon.
