I really do not like walls bacon. I would normally purchase another brand when i do the shopping but sadly the Tesco finest bacon was sold out last week and therefore i bought some of this, hoping i could trust such a well known brand to give me the good stuff. I was massively disappointed. As soon as i put it in my tefal pan, see an earlier review of mine, it seemed to shrivel and reduce in size by about half and by the time i had cooked it to the required level i was left with a fairly measly bit of bacon. Having paid a relatively large amount for this, about £3 for 8 slices, i felt my money had been poorly spent as not only did it shrivel it was not very tasty either. ... Read the complete review

Can things actually get much better I ask myself. It is freezing cold outside, blowing a gale and the rain is lashing down as I return from work, wet and bedraggled however as I drip through the front door the man whose children I may now actually decide to give birth to thrusts under my nose a lovely hot bacon sandwich made from freshly baked bread from Sainsbury and Walls unsmocked back bacon with a dollop of Daddies sauce on it. Pure heaven. Bacon is one of those things that I rarely eat as it is not very healthy however this particular day has been a welcome exception and it was really tasty. Now if I said Wall's to you naturally sausages spring to mind, but hey lets leave them for another time and focus on what I had for my breakfast, bacon. Yes Wall's do bacon also. ---A bit of history--- Wall's was established way back in 1786 by Richard Wall and yes they did sausages and bacon even back then from their market stall in St James Market in London and the business has continued to grow from there onwards and is still going strong today.
