Advantages: Taste nice

Disadvantages: Quite small, not healthy

I bought these because they were on a half price offer at Morrisons, making them £1.50 for a box of 6, and they looked interesting form the picture on the box.

To be honest when I opened the box I was quite disappointed at the size of the ice-creams, as they're a fair bit smaller than any cones I've had previously, but I figured this is probably because they're a 'luxury' ice-cream, so what they lack in size they should make up for in taste.

They have a thick disc of chocolate on top, sprinkled with chopped cashew nuts. This chocolate is really smooth and creamy, and it tastes lovely and rich, not like the sugary milky chocolate you often get on ice-creams. You can't actually bite into the ice-cream as the disc just comes off the top, so you can't even really get a mouthful of ice-cream with the chocolate, so I end up just taking it off to start with and then eating the ice-cream afterwards.

Under the disc is the vanilla ice-cream, which is luxuriously creamy and not too sweet. The ice-cream then has sweet caramel running through the centre to about half way down the cone. The cone itself is very crunchy and tastes just right and not too sweet. And finally in the bottom of the cone is some more of the same chocolate that's on the top of the ice-cream.

The overall taste is very nice and the combination of flavours works well. The ice-cream holds together well and doesn't melt quickly so you have time to savour the flavour. I find that these do satisfy my sweet tooth and my appetite, and I'm not left feeling like I need another one when I've finished.

Each cone gives you 200 calories, 17g of sugar, and 11g of fat (8g of which is saturates), so it is quite an unhealthy snack, but is still fairly good in comparison to a lot of other sweet treats. I would definitely buy them again to enjoy as an occasional treat.

Summary: Will buy again as a sweet treat
