... Once inside you will find an almost tear drop shape of chocolate coated icecream. The chocolate coats all the icecream and I must say it does also cover some of the stick. The stick is at the bottom of the tear drop icecream, making it easier to hold whilst scoffing. You really need to start at the top and work you way down, not advisable to eat half way down or start at the bottom as the chocolate coating tends to fall off in large chunks.. So if you start at the top this seems to help limit the loss of the choc.....more

Premium Review Wall's Magnum Classic: Walls Magnum Classic - Magnificent for a Magnum (318 words)

Having eaten one of these delicious and luxurious ice creams today, I can safely say that it is one of the tastiest ice creams around. Walls Magnum Classics are characterised by their connotations of posh grandeur, and this fact I think distinguishes it from any other ice cream brand in the market. However, with the high quality comes the rather high price. At anything between about £1 and £2, they are probably best kept as an occasional luxury rather than a permanent freezer filler. When I opened up the swirly brown box and pulled out one of the 3 ice creams inside, I opened the gold wrapper encasing the treat (the wrapper is even luxurious). Freezing cold, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Who cares how unhealthy it is when it tastes that good!- Wal ... (338 words)

Whether it's warm or cold, sun or hail, whether you are happy or sad a Magnum Classic is what you need. Ok, I admit when it's cold and wet it's hard to fully embrace the true quality of a Classic but it still puts you (me) in one hell of a good mood. Once known as the original 1987 Magnum, this chocolate coated ice-cream is packed with nice, tasty, creamy, chocolaty ingredients that are enough to give you a heart attack when consumed too much (my kind of food). The Classic is pretty much what it looks like, vanilla ice-cream in a shell of chocolate and placed on a stick. The two nicest things in the world combined (chocolate and ice-cream, not the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Wall's Magnum Classic: Magnums on the hips! (391 words)

Today I so fancied one of these and when I looked in the freezer and there was a box of 3 of these on offer at £1.00 (in my local Nisa store) instead of the usual price of £1.96 I was delighted and so grabbed a box for me and my parents as a treat for after our tea lol! The Packaging: Light brown cardboard box with a photograph of one of the magnums on the front then in gold writing I'm told they are 'Magnum Classic' and that they contain 260 Kcal each and that there are 3 in box (in this case). On the back of the box ingredients are listed (in many languages), nutritional information is fully given, size is stated (3 x 258g), the recycle symbol is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Summertime Ice Cream (389 words)

Summer summer summertime and that only means one thing, ice cream! I love it when it's hot outside as i now have a good excuse to eat ice cream, as if you really need an excuse, but anyway. One of my favourite ways to eat ice cream is in bar form and in my opinion one of the best ranges around is the range from Magnum! Magnum is an ice cream brand is owned by the British/Dutch Unilever company. They have quite a lot of different flavours that they produce now, including the ones that they have released the last couple of years such as Mayan Mystica, Ecuador Dark and Colombia aroma but I have to say that my favourite is actually the original version, now known ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Wall's Magnum Classic: The classic ice cream, beats the rest hands down (383 words)

Lately since suffering a family bereavement I've been trying to watch my weight and look after myself in general....though at times this isn't always easy when temptation gets in the way, usually in the form of my lovely partner, bless him! We recently set off for an evening walk on one of the rate days of sunny weather, we walked about 2 miles and I was feeling virtuous and quite smug....that is until my partner suddenly said, do you fancy an ice cream? well of course now that he had said it I really wanted one and didn't feel I could say no, typical! well for me anyway, my willpower never has been much good. Anyway, our local Co-op has a deal at ...  Read the complete review
