I purchased these as part of a 2 for £3 deal, along with my favourite - regular Twisters. Opening up my first chocolate Twister, I noticed it was half the size of a regular one - which is fine, as they are "mini" (and therefore contain less calories!). I also noticed that the whole lolly was made up of ice cream, unlike the mix in a regular Twister. It was also incredibly soft despite having been in the freezer. I seem to be going through a phase of ice cream reviews, which I would apologise for but I really like ice cream whatever the weather. More than 20 years ago before the creation of the Twister that we all know and love Walls marketed another stripy ice lolly called the Tongue Twister (although it may have been just known as the Twister originally), a white and pink ice cream version of the current Twister which I loved. They then launched the (Tangle) Twister and its combination of pineapple ice cream and lime and raspberry ice obviously sold more and eventually the Tongue Twister disappeared from newsagent's freezers, much lamented by me.
