Advantages: Tastes lovely, freezes well
Disadvantages: The price
Being an oldish lady I do find it quite tiring to prepare huge sunday roast dinners and main meals nowadays. When cooking for myself I tend to stick to the simpler things, namely hot buttered crumpets, sandwiches or toast. When it comes to the choice of bread i use for my toast or sandwiches there's only one choice for me. Warburtons white Milk roll bread. There's just something about the taste which seems so superior to most other brands. The bread slices are small, round shaped and quite thin but ample for a pensioner like myself and they don't stick together in on large mass when you try to freeze them for storage. You can just pop a slice into the toaster straight from frozen. Warburtons white milk roll loaf has a home baked and clean taste to it and makes perfect sandwiches. It also smells fabulous, almost as if it has just come out of the oven. It comes in a blue and cream plastic wrapper and is priced at 69p per loaf, which is a little on the expensive side but well worth the extra few pence. The bread does keep fairly well also, and doesn't go stale as quickly as some other brands. Try it toasted with loads of melted butter and beef dripping or smothered with bubbling cheese. Magic. Thank you for reading. Nancy.
