... light. You get a nice mouthful of doughy bread every time you bite into it. Probably some ingredient that is totally bad for you is the one that gives it the distinctive taste but I don`t care. I like to eat healthy whenever I can but I will not compromise on bread. Texture It is soft but firm if that makes sense. I can spread Lurpak light spreadable on it quite easily, however Lurpak "full fat" tends to rip it. I think its about the softness of the spread and the pressure you apply though. Premium Review Warburtons Medium White Sliced Bread: Yummy Warburtons Bread! (493 words)

If I had a bigger budget then this would always be my bread of choice but sometimes I have to stick to cheaper products or just whatever is in the cupboard wherever I happen to be staying! This bread is provided in a thick paper style bag that is folded around the bread as if it's a wrapped up present and it's more unique than other loaves of bread and providing you are careful when opening the bag it can easily be resealed and your bread will stay fresher for longer. I find that this stays soft for a good few days on average after purchasing and I normally freeze some when I get it so that I have a nice loaf in the freezer for toast at all times as well as ...  Read the complete review

Warburton's medium-sliced loaf is the main source of bread in our house, unless there is absolutely no other choice at the supermarket, which unfortunately at our local Co-op is a regular occurance if you leave your shopping until mid- afternoon when the schools finish. I generally buy my bread from the Co-op because it is so much fresher than buying it at Asda or Tesco, I'm not sure if this is because of the way they store the bread or whether it's just because the Co-op have a much faster turnover of bread as they don't buy as much in everyday. It works out a little dearer this way but for the extra freshness it's worth the few extra pennies it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Warburtons Medium White Sliced Bread: Best bread in the world!! (329 words)

Warburtons is by far our favourite family loaf. When I first met my husband he refused to eat anything other than Warburtons medium sliced white bread, which I thought was strange. However when I tasted it for the first time I totally understood why, it really is delicious. It is available from probably all supermarkets and is priced £1.29 for a 800g loaf, this is from Tesco's but I know the price will vary depending on where you buy it from. For your money you will get 18 slices of bread and two crusts. You can also buy it in 400g loafs but these are really small and not as good value for money. It is always really fresh and soft when you buy ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review MY FAVOURITE BREAD (408 words)

This is totally my favourite bread in the whole world. I am even allowed it while on my diet, and I have a nice sandwich made with this soft white bread every lunchtime. The price of this bread has shot up over the last few years. I can remember this costing approx 94p about 3 years ago, and it can cost up to £1.59 depending on what shop you go to. i think my local Asda and Tesco charge about £1,34 for a 800g loaf. You can buy this in 400g loafs, but the slices are tiny, and it isn't just half the pack size of the larger pack. It is just like the slices are miniature versions of the larger one. This bread is wrapped in a blue and white ...  Read the complete review

I can't believe that I've only just got around to writing about Warburtons Medium sliced bread - it's our family's all-time favourite white one. I see from the packaging that it's National Bread Week 4 -10th May! It's by no means the cheapest - around £1.29 - £1.49 per loaf but in our opinion it's worth paying the extra for the taste & texture. I've tried cheaper breads but have found the too dry, too soggy or that they don't last as long so I keep going back to good old Warb's. They are quite a big size (800g) & I'm guessing there are about 24 slices plus 2 crusts which aren't out of proportion & are wrapped in ...  Read the complete review
