Advantages: Great Taste, Nice As A Sandwich Or Toast.
Disadvantages: A Little Expensive.
If I had a bigger budget then this would always be my bread of choice but sometimes I have to stick to cheaper products or just whatever is in the cupboard wherever I happen to be staying!
This bread is provided in a thick paper style bag that is folded around the bread as if it's a wrapped up present and it's more unique than other loaves of bread and providing you are careful when opening the bag it can easily be resealed and your bread will stay fresher for longer. I find that this stays soft for a good few days on average after purchasing and I normally freeze some when I get it so that I have a nice loaf in the freezer for toast at all times as well as emergency sandwiches.
The bread is brilliantly white & is deliciously soft, I always give my loaf of bread a little squeeze before I purchase it just to try and make sure that it's as soft as I can get. I love this bread as the base for sandwiches (hence what makes me keep buying this as well as the toastie loaf!) or as toast and it never really disappoints. I use this as toast or bread and butter with the occasional grilled fry-up style breakfast and this is perfect for cleaning up all the beans and what not!
I have no bad points to mention about this bread, it's soft & extremely tasty. I like nothing more than a few good slices of bread to help get my day started and this product does it wonderfully! I will be buying it again (as soon as the budget allows) and I would definitely recommend it. It is a little expensive but it's worth paying that little extra for the fantastic taste, softness and great quality of the bread.
Each slice contains 94 calories and 0.8g fat (good slices, medium cut) and this is very reasonable for a slice of white bread of a decent size. While I remember it this is sometimes a little too tall for some smaller toasters but mine is a brilliant toaster so I have no problems with this, however, if I am staying somewhere where I am using their toaster then I just turn the piece around after a minute just to ensure that everything is nicely cooked.
Medium White Sliced Warburtons Bread is available for £1.29 per 800g and as this is the same size and price as the Toastie variety I would have to pick the toastie one over this if I could only afford one loaf of bread. However, these loaves are frequently on 2 for £2.00 in local supermarkets so I usually stock up my freezer then for a good few weeks.
I am rating this bread 5/5 as it's one of my favourite & it's a bread that makes yummy, soft, fresh tasting sandwiches.
Summary: A Delicious Slice Of Medium Cut Warburtons Bread.
