I first got into eating this when I was pregnant with my first child, I had cravings for the taste of bread and raisins and when I was looking upon the shelf's this looked the most appealing. I am a bit of a Warburton's fan, and tend to buy standard white bread, occasionally the toastie loaf, seeded batch and then this Raisin loaf although I don't tend to buy them all the time, I switch between the 4. ***About Raisin Loaf*** This is so tasty and consists of raisins with cinnamon. The crust is glazed and it is very sweet and is great for a snack or to have as lunch or even breakfast. If you have kids, you may find they can be a ... Read the complete review

I count myself as a Warburton fan having tried various loaves and compared them to rival brands. Family bakers since 1876 they have stood the test of time anyway. I purchased a raisin loaf with cinnamon in Asda, tempted by the fact it was reduced from its normal price of 68p to 48p. It has to be said this is a smallish loaf, but then most fruit loaves are. Each slice contains 96 calories, but this is without the butter, and they are moreish. The bread is a pleasant sweet bread, easy to toast. I did not find it too sweet for my taste. It is surprisingly liberally sprinkled with raisins,I like raisins but I wouldn't have minded a few less. The slices ... Read the complete review

Warburtons Raisin Loaf with Cinnamon is probably a good alternative to replace their limited edition of the Hot Cross Loaf, which I loved so much. Before I only noticed the Orange version but then I saw this one, even though not keen on raisins I do love the cinnamon taste so decide to give it a go. I found it over powered with raisins and it did not really have that spongy freshness they had in the Hot Cross loaf version, so I do not recommend eating it straight out the bag. I find it tastes much better toasted and buttered. As it is toasted the cinnamon smell wafts in the air. The raisins become juicy and there is a lovely taste of cinnamon, not over powering at all. ... Read the complete review

I love fruit bread and have tried lots of different brands lately, I was shopping online on Sunday and came across Warburtons while I was searching for bread so decided to give this a try. ~Packaging~ The bread comes in the usual plastic packaging that you get with most bread, it is burgandy/pinkish in colour and has a picture of fruit on the wrapper. There is a tie wrapped around the top of the bag which gives you the display until date and best before date. ~The Bread~ This is a 400g loaf and my loaf had 12 slices of bread, the bread is a little bit thicker than the usual thin cut loafs of bread which makes it ideal for ... After missing out on the Hot Cross Bun loaf from Warburtons, I decided this might be the next best bet. I actually ordered it online from Tesco the first time, so initially I was a little disappointed in the size. The slices are about half the size of a normal slice from Warburton's white sliced (the one in the blue wrapper), although they are a little thicker. However, this disappointment soon faded when I tasted it. The bread is soft as you'd expect from a Warburton's loaf, and the hint of cinnamon gives it a lovely sweet taste, but they haven't overdone the cinnamon and it's not over powering in any way. There is absolutely loads ... Read the complete review
