Weetabix Minis Chocolate Crisp

My latest breakfast cereal was chosen by my granddaughters, Weetabix Minis Chocolate Crisp are not something I would ordinarily have picked up in the supermarket but despite not really being a fan of chocolate cereals I was surprised to find that I actually quite like them. As expected these Weetabix Minis are much sweeter than the original plain Weetabix I usually buy, and they are far crunchier too. I'm not really a natural breakfast cereal lover, give me a piece of hot buttered marmited toast made from thick bleached white bread anyday. Unfortunately however, bread really bloats me up and I am aware that cereal is generally a healthier way to start the day. Weetabix Minis are as you can imagine a miniature version of the popular cereal, Weetabix. They look exactly the same as a weetabix except that they are ten times smaller. These particular ones have chocolate chips scattered throughout each one and although they aren't as healthy as the originals, they are much tastier and still a good start to the day. I love these for a few reasons and the first is probably the most ridiculous so I will get it out of the way! They are so small and cute that I can't help but like them! As part of a new initiative via the manufacturers of well known brands there is a new "credit crunch friendly" scheme happening around supermarkets. This initiative being that there are now, available for a select few products, slightly larger versions of there originals at a slightly higher price, this product I am now reviewing being one of them. I'm a very fussy breakfaster and sometimes I used to just like to skip breakfast altogether and just try and last straight through to lunch. However, there's nothing better than kick-starting your metabolism in the morning so I try to eat breakfast most mornings. As a child I used to get given Weetabix and it was never satisfying on its own.
