Weetabix. Another very well known cereal, and another cereal I have quite often. This is one of my favorites and have been eating it since I was a kid. Weetabix is 'The wholegrain cereal' according to the box! Again the box tells me it's 'low in fat, low in sugar, high in fibre, wholegrain'. So that all sounds pretty good I suppose.

The taste of weetabix is nothing special really. Its just nice. I usually have for my breakfast three weetabix with warm milk all over them. I wait till all the milk has been soaked in and then wolf them down. Occasionally for a snack I will have a dry weetabix with butter on, this is a completely different taste, but I still enjoy eating them like this.

Each serving of Weetabix has 127 Calories, 0.8 grams of fat, and 1.7 grams of sugar. That seems quite good really, especially compared to some cereals that are on the market! So this is probably quite a healthy breakfast and a good option.

Price wise, a 24 pack will cost you 99p at Tesco! Bargain! For some reason, a 12 pack cost £1.20, not sure how that works exactly. If your looking for good value, a 72 pack costs just £3.00 so this is the best value all round.

The packaging is quite simple, they come in a box and inside the box you have a smaller packet that tends to contain 12 weetabix. We usually take them out the packet and store them in a tuperware tub, this keep them nice and fresh.

So would have to say Weetabix is an excellent cerial. It's filling, gives you plenty of energy, and although the taste is nothing spectacular, it's still nice. A really good food for breakfast or maybe just a snack. Weetabix should find a place in everyones kitchen!
