Advantages: Lovely combination of flavours :)

Disadvantages: I'm not 'officially' allowed them! :(

I have a really sweet tooth like a lot of people but am not allowed to eat my mum's Weight Watchers Desserts as they are expensive...

When will parents ever learn things that are out of bounds are more tempting than ever, lol!

These 'Banoffee Desserts' are sold in packs of two; usually about £1.39 unless they are on offer for a pound like they were in Morrisons this week.

The packaging is a dark purple cardboard box with June next year as the best before date so they get plenty of freezer life. Made by Heinz they are described as: 'Rich toffee and banana mousse on moist toffee sauce with sweet toffee sauce and delicate curls. Yummy!

The calories per 81g pot are 170 with 4.4% fat and this comes to 3 points on the Weight Watchers diet plan.

For allergists there is wheat, gluten, egg, milk, barley, soya and they may contain traces of nuts.

In each clear round plastic pot the desserts contain no artificial colours or flavours or hydrogenated fats, and you simply need to peel back the sealed film lid to defrost at room temperature to eat ten minutes later - simple!

Now these are really tasty and satisfying, my favourite bit of the sweet is the curly swirls of white and caramel chocolate sprinkled on the top of the top toffee layer of mousse which is really light and whippy :)

The middle part of the mousse is just as light and full of banana flavour and is a lighter cream compared to the light brown toffee layer.
All around the edges of the container is a delicious runny toffee sauce that tastes really caramelly and sweet, it is quite gloopy and sticky and has a lovely aftertaste if you eat it on its own!

The chewy bit is the thick disc of sponge in the bottom of the pot which is really thick and tastes of moreish toffee. All parts of this dessert work really well together when you get all the different textures...

Five stars from me, these are so tasty when I am allowed one! ;-p

Summary: Eat them! ;-p
