... suitable for vegetarians and each cake slice has a points value of one. This is quite good as it means you can have a treat without worrying about an ever expanding waistline. Each slice contains only 71 calories per slice and 0.4 grams of saturated fat. The pack is quite bright and eyecatching and made me want to buy them as the carrot slices on the front looked really yummy. When I was younger, quite often I would visit the bakers after a hard and tiring day at school to boost my energy levels with a creamy, delectable slice of carrot cake. I had not had a slice of such fine confectionary in about six years, until today, when I sampled Tesco's Carrot and Orange Cake slices. I was a bit peckish and fancied a little snack a short while after my unsatisfying peanut-butter sandwich for lunch. The peanut-butter had given me a craving for something sweet, but I had no idea what treats were lurking in the cupboard. I opened up the door and raided around the biscuit box, but the little selection of bourbons and 'creams did not seem to take my ...  Read the complete review

Im desperately trying to lose weight so much so that i joined Weightwatchers yesterday. I love trying all of their products especially if they are low in points values and taste like my favourite types of foods. I have a really sweet tooth and thought i would look for some yummy little nibbles to stock up my cupboard with. I was in Tesco a few days ago and saw their Weight Watchers carrot cake slices in the cake and bread aisle. They come in a packet of 6 slices and the normal price is £1.34. I got them as they were reduced to 87p so thought that i got a bit of a bargain. They are suitable for vegetarians and each cake slice has a ...  Read the complete review

Even though I'm not on a diet and don't ever intend to be, lol, I sometimes eat my mum's Weight Watchers stuff as some of it is really tasty! I am told this six pack of Weight Watcher 'Carrot Cake Slices cost one pound on offer...and to keep my hands off them in future! The points in these bars are 71 calories each and add up to only one point of you are following this diet plan, I am also told this is very good ;) Described as 'Moist carrot cake slices, topped with a smooth layer of sweet yogurt icing', I am surprised by that as I thought it tasted so sweet that the covering of the slices was made out of icing sugar. Suitable ...  Read the complete review

Now, I'm not normally one to pick up Weight Watchers products, due to the fact that my mum doesnt ALLOW me to consume them. I can understand why afterall, and plus "diet products are usually ladden in sugar, although low in calories and fat. Take ready-meals for example, even though it states it has 30% less fat than the normal version, it usually fails to mention it also contains 50% more sugar and salt! This aside however, when my mum comes across a product such as weight watchers reduced, she normally picks it up and pops it into the trolley. This was the case last Wednesday. We'd been traipsing round Asda for nearing forty-five minutes and ...  Read the complete review
