Having been satisfied by the majority of the Weight Watchers products I have tried to date, I decided to give the Chicken Curry option a go when I stumbled across it in the 'healthy' freezer section at Asda. It was quite a risk to take; curry either agrees with me or it doesn't. I was not sure how this Heinz product was going to react with me. I was hoping that it would go down well, and would provide me with a delicious meal. Before I cooked the meal, I studied the packaging carefully. On the front, next to the clearly stated nutrition information, there was a picture of how the meal was going to look, or 'supposed' to. That was quite appealing to me; the ... Because of my sweet tooth (see many of my other reviews) I have to try and eat slightly healthier on other occasions. It's not always possible to make a proper meal with meat and vegetables from scratch in this busy world we live in, so I, like a lot of people, have to turn to ready meals from time to time. Weight Watchers make a number of different ready meals, and one of my particular favourites is their Chicken Curry. If you're familiar with the Weight Watchers points system, this meal will cost you 4 1/2 points, which to non-point savvy people is a pretty low fat point rating. The curry takes about 11 minutes to 'cook'. 6 1/2 on full ... Read the complete review

I reviewed the Weight Watchers Beef Hotpot yesterday & this is the second of their meals that I've tried. Packaging: The box is predominantly purple, as you'd expect a Weightwatchers product to be. There's a picture of the hotpot on the front, along with the name & a couple of highlights that tell you the meal contains 307 calories & less than 2% fat. The back of the box contains the usual information: ingredients, nutritional information, some stuff about Weight Watchers etc whilst the cooking instructions can be found on the side.:- Oven Cook: Pierce film lid. Cook for 45 minutes at 200C (400F) gas mark 6. Remove film lid ... Read the complete review

Following on from a disastrous weigh-in at Weight Watchers last week I decided to stock up on a few of their ready meals so I would always have a healthy meal in the freezer for when I really cannot be bothered to cook. It was a complete mistake that I picked up this Chicken Curry, I had picked up what I thought were three Chicken Hotpots but it turned out one of them was the curry which was a bit of a disappointment as I am not fond of frozen curries at all. Anyway, as I'd bought it I reasoned I might as well eat it. After cooking for some ridiculous time (around 45 minutes for this small meal, although I could have microwaved it) I plopped it on a plate ... Read the complete review

As I need to lose a little weight and I don't tend to cook a curry for myself I bought a weight watchers chicken curry to put in the freezer for a quick meal. I bought it from Morrison's for £1 This is a 320grams portions and is advertised as having no artificial colours or preservatives. I decided to cook this meal last night once my son was in bed and though I would sit down and enjoy a curry while watching Dancing on Ice. The packaging It comes in the familiar purple box with the weight watchers from Heinz logo on the front so there is no doubt you are buying a well known brand. It has a picture of the curry and rice with the ... Read the complete review
