... top, so you don't need a tin opened. So far, so good...... As soon as I opened it, I was skeptical. The soup does not look like the picture on the front of the tin. In fact, it is a cloudy brown colour and very thin looking. Nevertheless, I put it into the microwave for a couple of minutes (stirring halfway through) and then served. It can also be heated in a saucepan but I wouldn't bother, it was bad enough without having to wash a pan as well! There are hardly any vegetables, noodles or chicken but having tast...more

Premium Review Weight Watchers Clear Chicken Noodle Soup: Dirty Dishwater in a can with a hint of chicken (733 words)

Following on from quite a pleasant review of the Weight Watchers Chicken Soup, I thought that for an afternoon snack I would try the Weight Watchers Clear Chicken Noodle Soup. I rather naively assumed that because I like the Weight Watchers Chicken Soup I would really like the Clear Chicken and Noodle Soup. Wrong!!! It was awful and I have to say that this is the worst soup I have tasted ever, not just from the Weight Watchers range. ***Packaging*** The Clear Chicken and Noodle soup comes in a 295g can. The can has a ring pull so you do not need a tin opener handy to eat this soup. This is extremely convenient if like myself you take a tin of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Hit or miss? (403 words)

The last of my 3 for 2 Weight Watchers soups (from Somerfield, but they are cheaper individually at other supermarkets) was this Chicken Noodle Soup. As a rule I only buy tomato soup as I find other soups are generally hit and miss and I don't like them. However, I thought this looked good so I thought why not. The tin is actually quite deceptive as the front shows a brown soup with bits of noodle in - because of this I didn't realise until after I'd bought it that it contained sweetcorn, the only vegetable I refuse to eat at all times. I decided I could probably fish it out if there wasn't much though and decided to eat it anyway. This ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Weight Watchers Clear Chicken Noodle Soup: Reward if You Spot the Chicken - WW Clear Chicken Noodle Sou ... (791 words)

It was while I found myself counting the pieces of chicken (one) in my soup, that I felt the urge for a review coming on. I've been stuck indoors for days thanks to an operation which has rendered me unable to exercise for a few weeks. In anticipation of spending my days nibbling I stocked up on some handy low calorie food items. Of course, writing reviews on dooyoo always helps hinder the eating process. Anyway, in preparation, I'd purchased some Weight Watchers from Heinz soups. I haven't eaten these for many years, probably over 20, so it was almost an entirely new eating experience. I mentally prepared myself for an unappetising ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review HEINZ/WEIGHT WATCHERS CLEAR CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP - A 'POULTRY ... (569 words)

It was only a matter of time before this Weight Watchers feeble food offering from Heinz came under this reviewer's marauding microscope...and it didn't do well, I'm afraid. If you're looking for a weak, insipid, practically tasteless dish washer alternative to what 'should' be a nutritious tummy warmer - then this is your 'soup'. Though quite honestly how Heinz - usually the top of their game with tasty meal offerings, has the audacity to even put this concoction into production is simply beyond me, dear dooyoo'ers! Not only is it an insult to the usually luscious Chinese-style clear noodle soups, it is also an affront to any dieter's taste buds ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Weight Watchers Clear Chicken Noodle Soup: MMMMMMMM Noodle Soup (276 words)

I have been going to weight watchers now for about 5 weeks and I can honestly say that it does work. The weight watchers points plan is calculated by your age and fitness and you are basically set a number of points to eat per day in aid to lose weight. After buying a fair few weight watchers meals and deserts I came across the clear chicken and noodle soup. I must admit that a lot of the frozen meals and deserts are very highly priced. But the soups are fair at around 63 pence per can. The soup itself has a point's value of ½, which is an excellent amount as it contains less that 1g of fat and only 50 calories. On the down side it isn't very ...  Read the complete review
