Advantages: very tasty, low in calories and weight watchers points
Disadvantages: could do with being a bit bigger
I bought theses yogurts from asda as I have just joined weight watchers and they were on special offer at £1.00 per pack of 4, each one contains 120g, they are normally around £1.40.
***The Packaging***
There are 4 square plastic pots with a glossy paper lid. The pots are all stuck together in a square and have to be snapped apart. This can be done with ease and so far I have not had any injuries caused by sharp edges, but they have the potential to be quite sharp so look out. There is an outer sleeve made of a fairly pliable cardboard. The sleeve does serve a purpose though, it has almost all of the nutritional information on it. as well as the bar code.
***The Product***
There are 4 different flavours, they are; Strawberry Tart, Raspberry Tart, Lemon Cheesecake and Toffee Apple. In my opinion each flavour is captured and tastes just like the real thing. Each pot has a weight watchers points value of 1 point. (that's the same as 1 rich tea, who can eat just 1 though!).
*Strawberry Tart - this one is very thick and creamy, it is a lovely creamy pink colour, it has a good amount of strawberry pieces and pieces of flan, the flan pieces are obviously soft. The taste is of rich creamy strawberry, the yogurt is smooth and is very nice.
*Raspberry Tart - this one is very similar to the strawberry one, but tastes of raspberries and is darker in colour.
*Lemon Cheesecake - This one is very lemony and will draw your cheeks in. It is also smooth, creamy and a very pale lemon colour, it has tiny pieces of lemon and soft biscuit through it. Although this one is nice it was not my favourite.
*Toffee Apple - It is again very thick and creamy. The yogurt is smooth and toffee flavoured with small chunks of juicy stewed apples. Very nice.
***The Facts***
Each pot contains 120g
Toffee Apple values are
62kcals
9.9g sugars
0.3g fat
0.1g saturates
0.3g fibre
***Overall***
I'm not much of a lover of yogurts, but from looking at the picture on the sleeve it looked thick and creamy, this combined with the fact that each pot has a maximum of 62 calories and the delicious flavours, I just could not resist giving them a try and I'm glad I did. They are all very tasty, they are full of flavour and texture, not like a lot of bland yogurts out there. I have found each one to be reasonably filling and an adequate stop gap snack to get me through to lunch time or a delicious dessert. I will definitely buy these again,in fact have went back yesterday for another 2 packs before they go back up to full price. They have around a 3 week shelf life on them.
Summary: definitely recommended, give them a try
