Snack time! What do I fancy? Chocolate! How about some cream! Sounds dangerous...especially when I combine it with a puffy pastry! The amount of calories...the fat content...oh, God, my head would be spinning! That certainly would be one unhealthy combination! Fortunately for me, I discovered Weight Watchers from Heinz, and their glorious Chocolate Éclair dessert option! Packaging -------------- When I was last at Asda, I was sifting through the freezer section, when I stumbled across this new product. Straight away, it stood out amongst the other frozen desserts. The éclairs come in a cardboard box, which I can honestly say is very ... Read the complete review

"But I'm on a diet, I can't eat cakes!". These are words never to be heard from a weightwatcher! There are plenty of cakes available in the weightwatchers range and I like most of them so thought the éclairs were worth a try. The Éclairs come in a package of 6, with the éclairs in a plastic tray to keep them upright. You will find them in the frozen desserts section of the supermarket. The choux pastry tastes just as nice as the real deal and is not soggy, despite the product being frozen and the cream does not taste artificial which I often find in low fat cakes. The chocolate topping is really chocolate icing, so don't expect real ... Read the complete review

Anything that contains: (a) pastry (b) chocolate (c) cream and only packs in 81 calories has to be worth trying in my book. Anything that is tried based on the above, and tastes as good as these do, has to be bought again and again. Simple as. Éclairs are yummy. That lovely fluffy pastry that holds it all together. The creamy, um, cream filling. The gorgeous chocolate strip along the top. It may only be just after breakfast, but mmm, I could manage one right about now. Cream cakes (and these, being cakes with 'cream' in, would still fall into this category) are a no-no for most diets though. Enter Weight Watchers. They have ... Read the complete review

Review of Weight Watcher from Heinz Taste Temptations Belgian Éclairs Weight Watchers and chocolate éclairs don't seem to go hand in glove, however when I arrived at my mum's recently, she produced a box of these cakes for tea. Since an illness which isn't my place to go into here, my mum doesn't cook as much as she used to and relies heavily on what she deems 'shop bought stuff'. She always feels the need to apologise for serving said 'shop bought stuff', usually unnecessarily! ==The Product== Six frozen chocolate éclairs made with sweet choux pastry with a creamy filling and coated in a Belgian chocolate sauce. The éclairs are ... Read the complete review

I've always been a bit of a sucker for a nice treat, which is probably the reason I now need to diet. The man was complaining only a couple of weeks into my diet that I hadn't been buying things like cakes and chocolate with my weekly shopping - I figured if temptation was out the way, at least in the beginning of the diet, then I'd do much better at saying no to things I love. It's difficult having chocolate bars and chocolate gateau in the house and knowing you can't eat it, but I realised that it was hard for him not being able to have the little luxuries he had before I started cutting back on junk myself. These eclairs are perfect for giving ... Read the complete review
