... don't think they taste of pizza and are more like a cheese and ham toastie in flavour and not a very good one either! There's not a lot of cheese on it and if I was on a diet I reckon I'd rather go without pizza that eat this stupid version that's hardly got any cheese or flavour on it! The ham is quite nice but a bit watery tasting and the pineapple goes all squidgy when you cook the pizza oval and doesn't taste of much either. The pineapple is still a bit juicy but it's not a very nice sort of juicy and is jus...more

Premium Review Weight Watchers Ham & Pineapple Pizza Oval: Pizza hut in my own Kitchen? (686 words)

When I was browsing the aisles in my local Asda store I came across a distinct urge for a pizza a lovely thin stonebaked crust oozing with cheese and toppings just like the one's you get from Domino's or Pizza Hut but being on the Weight Watchers plan that would mean using up the majority of my daily points allowance and the next days so I decided to settle for second best and opt for one of the new Pizza Ovals at a very low points value. I had previously had the larger pizza's in the range and enjoyed them but these seemed ideal for lunch or as part of a main meal so I popped in the Ham and Pineapple flavour and continued shopping and the next day I had the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review It's Not Really Pizza, Is It? (421 words)

My mum brought a few of these Weight Watchers Pizza Ovals because they were only 39p in Cooltrader instead of nearly £2.00 in Tesco, not that she'd spend that much on one individual pizza anyway because that's a proper rip off! Mind you even at 39p I don't think they're worth it now I've eaten one because they're not really like pizza at all and the flavours aren't very good either. This one is ham and pineapple but they do another couple of flavours like spicy chicken and plain cheese and tomato I think. The problem with this pizza is that it hasn't got a lot of flavour and I don't think they taste of pizza and are more like a cheese and ham ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Weight Watchers Ham & Pineapple Pizza Oval: One of the worst PIzzas I've ever eaten . (567 words)

When trying to eat healthily, one of the products I fall down on in cheese, especially in great big thick doorstep sandwiches . So, I decided that rather than a cheese sandwich, I'd go for a nice hot pizza with cheese all melting and gooey on the top, and I figured I might as well go for the healthy weightwatchers option- especially as it was only 3.5 points for the whole thing, whereas my favourite pizza is the same number of points per slice! Now, it's not the biggest pizza in the world - it's sort of like a large pitta bread in size, but looking at it through the clear window in the packet, is looks to have a generous amount of tomato base sauce, some nice ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Mystic Pizza? Pathetic Pizza More Like (549 words)

Trying to follow the weight watchers plan is usually pretty easy but sometimes, especially after a long day at work, my mind messes with me and craves things which I know will blow my daily points allowance. One such frequent craving is PIZZA!! I would happily say that pizza is my biggest weakness when it comes to dieting, give me a dominos tandoori hot for tea every night and I would be in heaven...however, at 2.5 points per slice it is not a wise idea. So...whilst shopping in Asda at the weekend I came across this pizza oval and even better it was reduced to £1.10 (usually £1.89) because it was close to the sell by date. I was amazed to see the oval was only ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Weight Watchers Ham & Pineapple Pizza Oval: Is there any such thing as diet pizza? (484 words)

Looking around my local Sainsbury's the other day I noticed they had started stocking the Weight Watchers pizzas which everyone raves about in my meeting, I know they sell them in Asda but I wasn't making the 20 mile round trip to this supermarket just for a pizza. A Pizza Oval is supposed to be just like a real pizza, only containing far fewer calories than any other frozen or chilled pizza on the market. I wasn't expecting much to be honest, but popped it in the oven for my tea tonight and can honestly say I was rather surprised at how tasty it was. I chose the ham and pineapple version because it's my favourite pizza flavour, it took only ...  Read the complete review
