... unlike the Caramel Crunch base, so full marks to Weight Watchers for a decent, tasty base. Price: I paid 99p for one box of these in my local corner shop. Opinion: From the description you can see that the dessert is made up of three components:- the biscuit base, the cheesecake in the middle & the zesty topping. Weight Watchers have got two of the three right, the only problem being the cheesecake in the middle which actually makes up the lion's share of the dessert. So, once more, this is another fairly av...more

When I want to lose weight, which I will admit is most of the time, I always turn to Weight Watchers products. There is something about them that gives me a little lift when I eat them, thinking of the others who are happily munching away into their egg and chip butties or their huge cheeseburgers smothered in fat. I am quite content with my healthy options. And why? They have always been delicious! I am quite fond of the Weight Watchers dessert pot range. They can curb my sweet tooth without doing too much damage to my diet! When I saw that they were offering a lemon cheesecake option, I jumped at the chance, and bought a pack of two. I do love cheesecake, ...  Read the complete review

In my never-ending quest to produce that bikini body before our holidays (only 8 weeks to go!) I came across the Weight Watchers range of frozen desserts in my local Iceland. Probably like most people I was a bit dubious about buying a dessert that claimed to be low in fat, low in calories and actually still taste good as well. But for a box of 2 desserts for £1 I suppose I didn't really have much to lose - other than the weight of course!! The Weight Watchers range of foods is quite distinctive with the Weight Watchers banner across the box usually making their products stand out from the others on the shelf, or in this case in the freezer. I got these from my local corner shop at the weekend along with another dessert which doesn't appear to be listed on dooyoo yet. Still, I've put it forward as a suggestion so it may get reviewed at some point in the future......... Packaging: The box is predominantly purple, as you'd expect a Weightwatchers product to be. There's a picture of the dessert on the front, along with the name & the word "new" in the top right hand corner. The back of the box contains the usual information: ingredients, nutritional information, some stuff about Weight Watchers etc along with the defrost instructions:- "Remove film ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review This one certainly isn't a lemon! (401 words)

I fancied a pudding after my dinner last night so was grateful to find a Weight Watchers Lemon Cheesecake in the freezer, I am fond of cheesecake but wasn't sure how good this would be as I am not a big fan of the frozen Weight Watchers desserts but beggars can't be choosers and this was all that was in the kitchen so Lemon Cheesecake it was. I must say this is one of the nicest Weight Watchers desserts I've tried, tasting more natural than the other synthetic offerings from this brand and it was a very tasty pudding indeed. The cheesecake takes the traditional form with a layer of biscuit, soft cheesy filling and thin fruity topping, in this case ...  Read the complete review
