... before I emotionally break down!! With only 71 kcals and less than 0.1g sat fat (which equates to 1 WW point) in a pack these seem like just the treat I need on my diet (basic calorie counting) - although the lower content may be due to the fact there is only 20g in a pack they still satisfy my cravings. If you are expecting these to taste like hula hoops you will be mistaken but that is not necessarily a bad thing - they do look similar to hula hoops in shape and size however as they are baked they have a completely d...more

Weight Watchers are a company designed to help people lose weight, whilst not missing out on the foods they like to eat. To help this, Weight Watchers produce their own range of foods, of which the Mini Hoops are a part. The crisps come in multipacks of six (I have never seen them sold singly) and come in either Lightly Salted or Salt and Vinegar flavour. They are around £1.60 per bag of six, which works out at under 30p per pack, but in my local shops they often have the multipacks on offer for £1. For those following the Weight Watchers plan, each bag has a points value of 1. For those of us that are more concerned with good old calories, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Mini Taste, Big Price! (587 words)

I'm not a member of Weight Watchers but I've tried quite a few of their products and although some have been okay, I've not found anything yet that's been amazing..especially considering the prices! Weight Watchers Mini hoops are a lower-fat, lower cal alternative to Hula Hoops. They're simply small hollow 'hoops' made from potato which are lightly salted. Although they're a similar concept, the taste, texture and price are quite different. I've only come across these in Morrisons so far so they don't seem very easy to come across. They're sold individually in 20g bags for near enough 50p (usually on offer for 2 for 70p) which is ridiculous. You ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Weight Watchers Mini Hoops: Hula Hoops for fatties! (403 words)

I am always looking out for a tasty snack low in Weight Watchers points so that when I put my feet up at night I can look forward to something nice while still being able to keep on track. I am rapidly becoming bored of Golden Lights, French Fries and other lower fat crisps so when I saw these Mini Hoops from Weight Watchers in Morrisons I decided to buy a bag to try, not honestly expecting too much after trying the awful crisps they sell in the meetings. The Mini Hoops are available in only Salt & Vinegar as far as I'm aware and they are designed like Hula Hoops in a ring shape, only you can't put these on your fingers as they've made the crisps ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review WHOS WATCHING YOUR WEIGHT! (280 words)

These weight watchers crisps have recently been stocked in my local poundland so I thought I would give them a go as 6 packs for £1 is reasonable however in most supermarkets they cost nearly double that at £1.89 in Morison's - a price I would never pay no matter how nice they were. The other reason I decided to give these a go was because of late I have put on some weight and in dire need of losing a few pounds before I emotionally break down!! With only 71 kcals and less than 0.1g sat fat (which equates to 1 WW point) in a pack these seem like just the treat I need on my diet (basic calorie counting) - although the lower content may be due to the fact there ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Weight Watchers Mini Hoops: Certainly not for me (180 words)

AVAILABILITY These crisps are available from a number of supermarkets. Up until recently they were available at my local tesco but they seemed to have stopped selling them. However, they are available at my local pound store which makes them a lot better value than the price that was in excess of £1.50 that they were available for in my local tescos. I have just found out they are available at Sainsburys at a price of £1.94. They are available in a multipack of 6. TASTE Weight Watchers have tried to make everyday foods taste the same, but with less fat and calories and these have, in my opinion failed the weight watcher range. Each hoop tastes ...  Read the complete review
