Weight Watchers Part Baked Petit Pains

... them but then I realised that the petit pains are quite salty so it can't be that. It's nice enough and the chicken and salad I put on mine today rounded the flavour off good, but there was still the feeling of something being missing that made them not quite like other part baked bread products. I'd buy and eat them again but only when they're on special offer because I don't think they're worth their full price. Another thing is that because they are so small I didn't think the petit pains were filling at all ...more

My mum got these Weight Watchers Part Baked Petit Pains for 99p when they were on special offer, because you get 4 little ones instead of 2 big baguettes it made sense for her to buy them because the big ones are too big sometimes. You cook them in the oven for about 10 minutes until they are golden brown on the crust. I noticed the air in the kitchen didn't smell of freshly baking bread like even the Tesco Value baguettes do and the petit pains have a bit of a weird shiny look to them. I cut mine in half and spread it with butter and took a bite, looking forward to a nice chewy piece of bread that would have the freshly baked flavour I expect ...  Read the complete review

I'm not currently following the Weight Watchers diet plan but when I saw these were on special offer in Morrison's (49p for a 4 pack - they're normally £1.49) I thought I'd give them a try, especially as they were cheaper than most of the other part baked rolls. If you are following the diet plan then they're 1 and a half Weight Watchers points. They're suitable for vegetarians and vegans but may contain traces of milk. Other allergy advice: contains wheat and gluten and may contain traces of sesame seeds. They come in a plastic pack of four which is divided into two so if you open one side, the other two rolls will still stay ...  Read the complete review

Since re-embarking on my Weight Watchers plan last year I have been making a point of trying their branded food from the supermarket, much it is improved from the slop they used to sell years ago although I still wouldn't touch their spaghetti bolognese with a barge pole! A new addition to their range are part baked Petit Pains which I must say are absolutely delicious and really liven up my lunchtime bowl of soup! You need to bake them at Gas Mark 6 for eight minutes, after which you will have a golden brown crispy looking petit pain which smells lovely and fresh. I find they don't brown to such a deep colour as other part baked baguettes I buy, ...  Read the complete review

There's nothing I love better than a good crusty roll or some tear and share to mop up my pasta sauce or stew. However, since embarking on a much-needed wedding dress diet I have pretty much cut out bread, as the types I like are so high in points that it seems a waste. However when I saw the points on the front of this packet and thought about warm bread for just 1.5 points, I had to give them a try!! Taste These are fairly average tasting little bread rolls if I am honest, nothing ground breaking here. They take 8 minutes in the oven and if left to go golden brown have that lovely fresh-baked taste. Packaging and storage These rolls come ...  Read the complete review
