My review gives a nutritionists take on the taste and nutritional value of the product and after reviewing the above my view on the nutritional claims made by the food company. Taste The taste of the toffee bar was alright, I found it quite chewy, but nothing special. This is disappointing because when you review the nutritional value they are not much better than an average chocolate bar and therefore I would expect them to be more satisfying. Nutritional Label The label gives both the values for one bar (28 grams) and for 100 grams. It is the 100 grams column that we need to compare to national guidelines to assess whether ... Here I am reviewing another sweet treat brought to us from Weight Watchers and I am wondering if perhaps I eat too many treats!!! These little bars are available from weight watchers meetings and can be purchased from the ww website and the ww magazine - although they must be bought in packs of 3 which leaves you with 15 bars. For a box of 5 28g bars I pay £2.05 at my meeting. Each bar is worth 1.5 ww points. Each bar contains: 89 calories 1.0g protein 14.6g carbohydrate, 9.5g of which sugars 3.0g fat 1.7g saturates 0.2g fibre trace sodium Contains milk, gluten, egg, soya and may contain traces of peanuts, nuts ... MMMMMMMMMM weight watchers rich toffee bars. I bought these from my local weight watchers meeting and they cost about £2.10 for a box of 5. The price isn't to bad considering they are very tasty and you would probably pay the same in shops for a great tasting pack of chocolate bars. It confuses me to be honest how such a low fat bar can be so tasty but its true. Each bar has a point's value of 1 and a half. This means that each bar contains around 89 calories and 1.7g of saturated fat (the one to look out for) The packaging advises to keep the bars in a cool place although I find this tends to make them a tad bit chewy. I prefer them at room ... Read the complete review

I am against any kind of diet programme like weight watchers. I know they work for a lot of people but in order for them to keep going and keep making money, they rely on people putting the weight back on and having to go back to them. However, brands such as Weight Watchers make certain food products that are useful if you are on a diet. These rich toffee bars from weight watchers contain nougart as well as toffee. The nougart is soft, a little like a Milky way. I think the majority of the bar is nougart, rather than toffee, as their name suggests. They are very sweet and the chocolate is not of a very high quality. They are not very tasty. ... Read the complete review

I have tried most of the weight watchers bars over the years and the Rich Toffee Bars are my favourite!!! The bars are available at your local weight watchers meeting or you can purchase them online from the weight watchers website. You get 5 bars in a box, each bar is 28 grams. The toffee bars consist of a layer of nougat and a layer of yummy toffee covered in chocolate (milk). Each box costs £2.00. Each bar is in discreet packaging allowing you to take them to the office or out and about and not have to worry about being spotting eating weight watchers food! The bars are quite thick and chewy in texture. I put mine the ... Read the complete review
