My husband turned up one night after a late shift with a Weight Watchers Salmon and Broccoli Wedge Melt for me as I always moan how hungry I am if I've stayed up for him coming home and then moan again that I've got to fish something out of the cupboard or fridge and cook it. I was very grateful as it sounded delicious but decided to wait until tea time the next day to eat it so I popped it in the freezer. After cooking my kids dinner, I was starting to feel hungry and couldn't be bothered to wait for this to cook in the oven (45 minutes after pre heating oven) so decided to bung it in the microwave instead. 9 minutes if you have a 750W microwave, 8 minutes if you have a ... As some of you might be aware after my leaving various comments on your own reviews (stop reviewing wispas...you make them sound so delish I want to run out of the office and buy one!!) I officially started my diet on Monday. Not any old diet either - I decided, after having considerable success a couple of years ago - to do weight watchers and this time do it online. I should firstly point out that I'm fairly rubbish when it comes to cooking - I have a great boyfriend who recognises my lack of skills and cooks for me most times - but if he is not around, I'm more of a stir-fry/beans on toast/chuck something in the microwave kind of girl. ... As a points worshipper at the church of Weight Watchers I do like to have some of their Ready Meals in the freezer. They are very quick and convenient and as the points total is wrote on the side in big figures - it saves you having to work out how many points you have used up. For those unfamiliar with the Weight Watchers programme - the theory is quite simple. Each food item has an allocated number of points and if you stick within the number of points that you have been allocated you will hopefully loose weight. Cooking The meal can be cooked in either the microwave for 8 minutes or in the oven for 45 minutes. I don't tend to like the ... Read the complete review

I am not really one for ready meals as I like to cook so preparing a meal from scratch is no hardship for me, but I do keep a pile of Weight Watchers meals in the freezer for those times when I want something I can just put into the oven and forget about. Some of the meals are lovely but some are appalling, so it is always with some trepidation that I try a new one. The Salmon & Broccoli Wedge Melt looked the most interesting on the shelf in Tesco today and knowing I wouldn't have time to cook tonight I decided to have it for my tea. The cooking time is quite long, 45 minutes at gas mark 6 but you can pop it in the microwave for a few minutes ... Read the complete review

Weight Watchers Salmon and Broccoli Wedge Melt I am one of the laziest cooks in the world. By the time I get in from working all day, all I want to do is chuck something in and have it ready in five minutes - hence the amount of beans, spaghetti hoops and jacket potatoes I eat! Even when I haven't been at work, I never seem to have enough time to make a 'proper' meal. So, when I saw this 'Salmon and Broccoli Wedge Melt' on offer in Tesco for '2 for £3' I thought it would be worth giving a go! How Weight Watchers Works I am not 'on' a particular diet, but the Weight Watchers meals are made up with points values written on each of ... Read the complete review
