I do like a nice bacon sandwich and always manage to work one into my daily Weight Watchers points allowance whenever I fancy one, I'm only allowed 21 points a day though so the 8 1/2 points in a 'normal' bacon sandwich means it either has to be relegated to an occasional treat or else I have few points remaining for the rest of the days meals and drinks. In Morrisons last week I noticed Weight Watchers have introduced their own packets of bacon which contain an incredibly low points value of 1/2 per slice, compared to 1 1/2 points in a regular trimmed piece of bacon. I love bacon, but never eat it because of the high levels of fat. Though when I discovered Weight Watchers Smoked Bacon, I was thrilled and bought a pack straight away. In each pack, it looks like you get around four or five pieces, but when you lay them out onto the grill (which is set to a medium heat), you will see there is actually ten fair sized pieces of bacon. Cook the bacon for about six minutes - obviously this will differ depending on how crispy you like your meat done - turning it over every so often.
