Advantages: Vanilla ones are quite nice

Disadvantages: Nasty texture, not very flavoursome, cheap looking, pricey

I'm not a member of weight watchers, but I do watch what I eat and I like to avoid unnecessary calories/fat. I always go for low fat yoghurts and when I saw these on a buy one get one free offer, I thought I would give them a try. It said on the box that they only contained "half a point" each which sounded good to me, even though I am not really down with the whole point system. It also said there were less than 50 calories in each pot, which is nothing really is it?! I love toffee yoghurts and have been looking for a low fat version for a while now so these seemed perfect.
The packaging was quite nice, four yoghurts wrapped in a cardboard sleeve thing with pictures of vanilla pods and cubes of toffee on it. It said quite a lot about the nutritional values of the yoghurts, as I suppose this is really weight watchers unique selling point. When you open the cardboard packaging, the pot lids are just plain white (which is a bit disappointing - I think they cheaped out here) but they do have colourful labels on the sides. It can be hard to tell which is which flavour however when you just glance in the fridge. You have to take them out and look closely to tell the flavour which isn't a big chore I know, but it is nice when you can tell straight away which yoghurt it is you want.

Now the taste, well, I have to admit that I was quite disappointed. I felt that the toffee yoghurt did not have a very strong toffee taste at all and it was also not a very nice texture. It was kind of jelly-like and not very creamy and it tasted quite artificial. It tasted like it was lacking something which it really needed to make it taste good (probably naughty stuff which adds calories) and to try and achieve the same flavour, they had shoved loads of strange chemicals in.

The vanilla yoghurt was slightly nicer, it had a stronger flavour to it but again I wasn't a great fan of the texture. I still have two of these yoghurts in the fridge which I think will go uneaten as I didn't find them very appetising at all. I think a few more calories could have made them a lot nicer and more "luxurious" but as it was, it tasted like a really cheap, nasty yoghurt.

Summary: I wouldn't buy these again, even if they were on offer.
