==WEIGHT WATCHERS TOFFEE AND VANILLA YOGURTS==

Lets get something straight..I am not on a diet. However, I often succumb to trying new healthy eating or diet products if I ever spot them in the shops.
My latest discovery is Weight Watchers Toffee and Vanilla flavour yogurts. These little pots caught my eye while walking around my local Asda, and being a fan of most yogurts, I had to give them a try, so into our trolley they went.

==TOFFEE FLAVOUR==

_Toffee flavour was definitely going to be the first one that I tried. I am a big fan of most toffee yogurts especially Muller, so I hoped that these weight watchers ones wouldn't disappoint. There were two of these in the packet, so I ripped the packaging open and dived in for a Toffee flavoured one._

===Packaging===

The pots of yogurt came in a cardboard sleeve, which held the yogurts together really nicely. I wouldn't necessarily say that the product was eye catching, and I did have to get closer to the packaging to get more of an idea what I was actually going to be purchasing.
The pots contain 120g of yogurt. The toffee pot itself wasn't to fancy, pretty plain to be honest. WeightWatchers was written on the front of the pot in blue writing, with the word toffee written underneath and a picture of creamy looking caramel colour yogurt on a spoon.

===Cost and Availabilty===

A package of 4 yogurts cost me £1.19 from my local Asda. In my opinion, this is quite a high price, for four yogurts. Asda does there own pack of low fat yogurts for a mere 89p, but perhaps the test was going to be in the taste. I have also seen these yogurts in Tesco, for roughly the same price, though they are not always there when I have walked down the yogurt aisle, so they are either really popular or the supermarkets just don't supply them at all times.

===Smell===

The time had come for me to tuck into the Toffee flavoured yogurt. I sat up at the table, teaspoon in hand (I have a "phobia" of eating yogurts with dessert or soup spoons). I peeled the lid back and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with what I was dealing the with. The yogurt looked very creamy and thick, I was having my doubts about this as it is a low fat dessert. The colour was very appetising too, quite a deep dark golden caramel colour. The appearance of the yogurt was a lot better than I was expecting and it did look like the pot contained a reasonable amount of yogurt.

===Appearence===

It was almost time to tuck in, but first the smell test had to be taken. When I initially peeled back the lid, I was only given the slight smell of something, it didn't actually smell to toffee like- just a yogurt. But as I leaned in closer to the little pot, a definite creamy, toffee/caramel flavour wafted up and danced up my nostrils, sending me almost to heaven. That was it I couldn't wait any longer....

===Taste===

I dipped my teaspoon into the creamy looking yogurt and gave it a little mix to make sure it was creamy all the way through, then I drew out my spoon and brought it teasingly towards my mouth. By this time my taste buds were getting angry with me and willing me to hurry up. So I popped the spoon into my mouth, loaded with the delicious looking yogurt. Mmmm! For a low-fat yogurt the taste was absolutely delicious. It wasn't overly sweet, though it did have a taste of real toffee, the yogurt was extra creamy and after Id had one spoonful, I automatically went back for another. The yogurt was quite thick, not at all watery. The yogurt had definitely passed the taste test.

===Nutrition===

Unsurprisingly being a WeightWatchers product, these little treats are very low in fat, in fact the pot states that they are fat free...not bad! The toffee yogurt contains an extremely good 48 calories, and if you are on the weight watchers diet, they only provide half a point. Now I don't know if its just me, but for such a creamy delicious dessert these nutrition values are excellent.

==VANILLA FLAVOURED YOGURT==

After devouring both of the toffee yogurts, much to my sadness, there was only vanilla yogurts left in the weight watchers range. So mid afternoon, when I was feeling slightly peckish, I thought the time had come for me to sample to Vanilla flavour. To be honest I wasn't really looking forward to these ones as much as the toffee ones, but I thought what the hell and gave it a try

===Packaging===

Like the toffee, there are two of the vanilla flavour in the pack of four. They are again concealed in a cardboard sleeve. The 120g yogurt pots looking similar to the toffee ones again. Weight watchers written in blue writing, this time however Vanilla written underneath, and unsurprisingly the picture of a creamy looking vanilla yogurt on a spoon. In my opinion the pot of the vanilla is pretty boring, perhaps to do with the fact the most dominant colour on it, is white.

===Appearence===

So there I was, sitting at my breakfast bar, with the little pot of Vanilla yogurt in front of me, and my teaspoon (hehe!?). I was beginning to wish it was a toffee flavoured yogurt I had here, but I thought I'd at least give the little mite a try. So I peeled off the lid and I wasn't too surprised. The yogurt was a pure white colour; in fact it did look a bit more appealing than I had thought. It wasn't watery in any way and the consistency of it looked quite thick.

===Smell===

The smell of the vanilla yogurt wasn't as dominant as that of the toffee though. Though as I got closer to the little pot, there was a definite smell of vanilla yogurt. It just smelt exactly like that of a Muller, or the vanilla yogurt you get in fruit corners. The smell was quite pleasant, but sadly it wasn't too over powering.

===Taste===

The time had come for me to take the taste test. I dipped in my spoon, mixed the yogurt up, again to make sure it was creamy all the way through and not watery in any way. I then brought the spoon up to my lips, closed them over the spoon and took my first taste of the little pud. Well, it was definitely vanilla flavour, it had the same taste as Muller vanilla yogurt, which in my opinion is a lovely taste. I was pleasantly surprised, the yogurt was creamy and smooth and slipped down my throat leaving a delicious creamy and semi-sweet taste in my mouth.

===Nutrition===

Much the same as the toffee flavour yogurt, although the vanilla contains 2 more calories; 50 calories. Still an amazing surprise for the actual taste which is creamy and delicious. Again we are told that this yogurt it fat free, and contains only half a point on the weight watchers diet. Amazing.

==WOULD I RECCOMEND==

Definitely, unlike most healthy eating or low fat yogurts, these ones and creamy, yet sweet and deliciously thick and smooth. In my opinion I much preferred the toffee ones, and I think weightwatchers should sell the toffee ones in packs of four, instead of two vanilla, as I think I'd be more inclined to buy them. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the vanilla flavour, but i find I need a bit more flavour when it comes to yogurt. I suppose the vanilla yogurt would be nice drizzeled over a meringue and fruit or something along those lines. And because they are so low in fat and calories you can afford to have more than one in a day!!
