***APPEARANCE/SMELL***
After opening the pack I was quite surprised at how big these are as I thought they were going to be a lot smaller. They are just under 2 inches wide, which I don't think are mini cupcake size. They are about 1 inch in height. They come in a brown paper cup and they do look very delicious and chocolatey. The Belgian chocolate on top looks very thick and the chocolate curls on top make them look a bit more interesting and even more yummy than they do already.

You can smell the chocolate from these cakes and the smell reminds me a bit like the cheap chocolate you get, from chocolate coins at Christmas and the chocolate Easter bunnies and Christmas Santa's. (nothing beats the smell of Cadburys!!).

The cake was easy to take out from the paper cup wrapper and the chocolate on top feels quite hard and looks so thick. The sponge looks soft, but when touching this, it wasn't as soft as what I thought it was going to be.

***TASTE TEST***
As I bit into the cake the top layer of Belgian chocolate cracked beneath my teeth and I was quite disappointed that the thickness of the chocolate which you can see before you bite into the cake wasn't as thick on top of the cake, but it was just thicker round the sides.

The sponge is quite soft and does taste chocolatey. The Belgian chocolate on top is very creamy and it doesn't taste too bad of cheap chocolate. The chocolate on top goes very well with the sponge and tastes delicious in your mouth.

***PRICE AVALIABILITY***
These are available to buy from Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's from £1.78, how-ever Sainsbury's is just a penny more expensive at £1.79.

These prices were taken from www.mysupermarket.co.uk

***OVERALL OPINION***
I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't have a cheap, chocolatey taste as that is what I could smell when I opened the pack of cakes.

These are a very yummy, chocolatey treat and are definitely satisfying. I would even have to say that they are just as satisfying as a chocolate bar as I also find them quite filling as well. I think maybe after 2 they would become a bit sickly.

Summary: Yummy, thick chocolate cup-cakes which are low in fat!
