Advantages: A lovely flavoured Belgium chocolate product - really tasty and light sponge.

Disadvantages: Too small for one to be enough and expensive at full price...

My mum buys a lot of Weight Watchers products, especially desserts and buns, cakes, yogurts, etc, so I think it's only fair to give her moral support by sampling them with her!

When these chocolate mini cupcakes first came our recently I remember her moaning a lot about the price, she said £1.75 for nine little buns was too expensive even though they were great on points value at 1 ½ each bun.

So when they appeared on special offer some magically appeared in our kitchen cupboard too, funny that? ;)

Made by Anthony Alan Food Ltd and coated in 29% thick Belgian milk chocolate the tiny sponge bases are described as 'delicious' by WW themselves.

Sold in a square cardboard box and wrapped in clear plastic each bun sits in a separate little compartment in a clear plastic holder and they are hand finished with milk chocolate curls...

Containing 87 calories individually with carbohydrates of 10.7g and fats of 4.3g these contain wheat, gluten, milk, egg and soya for anyone suffering with allergies to these ingredients.

As for the taste these small treats are really lovely for diet food! :)

To say they are only about 1 inch deep by 2 inch wide that are really tasty, although one is nowhere near enough so I feel sorry for people that have to track their points like my mum :(

I ate three before she caught me and confiscated the box, lol!

The milk chocolate is surprisingly very thick on top of the darker brown sponge bun, and it is delicious as they claimed it would be. The cupcakes smell lovely as you start to devour them, and the sponge is nice and light but I found it to be a bit dry so it's a good job the Belgian confectionery is soft enough to add some moisture really.

The tiny curls are cute but most of them seem to have ended up in the pack rather than stuck to the cupcakes, but the appearance of this product is nice nonetheless.

These treats deserve four stars as I thought they were full of flavour for healthy mini cakes, just a shame sponge is a bit too dry...

Summary: A luxury treat that's good to eat but WW need to lower the price a bit.
