The old version of the cereal came with cherries instead of the redcurrants. The fruit pieces in the old cereal were bigger but there was nowhere near enough of them and they always went in the first few bowls which meant that I was left fruitless towards the end of the box. Now the fruit pieces are smaller (only the redcurrants are recognisable as such) but as there are more they are spread around the box and the flavour lasts. I'm quite fussy about the cereal that I eat and have never really gone for the usual cornflakes etc. I recently came across this Whole Earth Red Fruit Organic Crunch in my local Tesco and the description of the cereal seemed to tick all my boxes so I gave it a try. WHO ARE WHOLE EARTH? Whole Earth was started by Craig and Gregory Sams in 1967, when they opened a restaurant in London. They have since expanded rapidly and promote the use of organic and natural foods. They make a range of cereals, drinks, spreads and everyday items like baked beans and ketchup.
