Advantages: Addictive!
Disadvantages: Better than crisps but still not good for you
Walkers Wotsits Really Cheesy Flavour
Walkers Wotsits have been around for ages, they come in 40g bags which retail individually for around £0.40 or multipacks which work out cheaper (I got a 6 pack for just £1 from Morrison's recently). They come in a shiny blue bag with orange writing on it.
They are basically a cheese flavoured baked snack and as they only contain 95 calories and 5.8g of fat per pack, are a little better for you than crisps.
Ingredients are as follows:
Maize, vegetable oil, cheese flavour (cheese powder 7%; lactose from milk; flavour enhancer disodium 5'ribonucleotide; colours paprika extract, annatto; natural flavourings), salt, potassium chloride.
Nutritional values are as follows:
Energy: 95 kcal/pack; 545 ckal/100g
Protein: 1.0 g/pack; 5.5 g/100g
Carbohydrate: 9.8/pack; 56 g/100g
of which sugars: 1.5 g/pack; 8.5 g/100g
Fat: 5.8 g/pack; 33 g/100g
of which saturates: 0.7 g/pack; 4.0 g/100g
Fibre: 0.2 g/pack; 1.1 g/100g
Sodium: 0.14 g/pack; 0.78 g/100g
Equivalents as salt: 0.35 g/pack; 1.98 g/100g
Suitable for coeliacs and vegetarians.
I really like these snacks. They have quite a strong cheesy taste, much better than any of the cheaper alternatives and the texture is crunchy and then melty. If you like cheesy snacks then chances are that you will like these ones. My only issues is that I like them so much that I often find myself reaching for that second pack!
Definitely recommend these snacks, stash them today.
Summary: Well worth the money
