Yeo Valley are the modern masters of yoghurt. No other mainstream brand of yoghurt comes anywhere as close. It is thick, creamy and the fat free ones only have about 4 Weight watchers points per pot- which is really good, as they never last long in my house. Priced at around £2 a pot (depend on where you go), it's not bad for the money. I will always buy organic yoghurt as I like to know the milk has come from happy cows and uses good quality ingredients. There are no preservatives, additives or any rubbish. In Tesco at the weekend I was looking for yoghurt to go with the fresh strawberries and raspberries that I had already put into my trolley when I saw that the Yeo Valley yoghurts were on special offer. To give the yoghurt its full name it is Yeo Valley Organic Strawberry Fat Free Yoghurt. It usually costs £1.53 for a 450g tub but it is presently on offer at two tubs for £2.50 thus making a saving of 56p. It isn't much I know but, as they say in Tesco, every little helps! One yoghurt I have bought recently is Yeo valley organic vanilla fat free yoghurt presently costing £1.53 for a 450g tub on offer two tubs for£2.50. I usually get about 4 servings from a tub more if I am adding it to a desert. This yoghurt is a light pinkish red colour and is. The taste yes strawberry, it has no artificial sweeteners. The texture is smooth and creamy fairly thick. Ideal for spooning not thin runny yoghurt but not like a thick double cream. I sometimes eat this yoghurt with my cereal in the morning or use it for desert. I sometimes add a few of the strawberries from my garden to it, not that it really needs extra strawberries, ...
