Advantages: Creamy, smooth, delicious, ideal for children, gluten free, no fruit bits

Disadvantages: Price

Petits Filous is made by Yoplait and is a fromage frais. It tastes very similar to yogurt (though seems a bit thicker), however 'fromage frais' actually means 'fresh cheese'.

Petits Filous is smooth and creamy and has no fruity bits in it, which makes it ideal for children and fussy adults! Other bonuses include it being suitable for vegetarians and being gluten free. It contains no artificial colours, sweeteners or added preservatives, but does contain calcium and vitamin D (for strong bones!).

I often go for the little 60g pots (aimed at little kids) which come in a pack of 6, rather than the bigger 100g pots in packs of 6... My original reason for this was because I'm lactose intolerant I really shouldn't be eating fromage frais, but one of these little pots wouldn't do me any harm. However, I actually break away 2 little pots from the pack and eat 1 Apricot flavoured Petits Filous followed by a Strawberry flavoured Petits Filous. If I bought the bigger pots, I'd be stuck with having just 1 flavour at a time, but with 2 of these little pots I can have 2 flavours! Even my friend thought it was a genius idea when I mentioned it!

I love the strawberry and peach flavoured ones, but I have also see them in raspberry and strawberry flavours (though I don't like the raspberry ones).

The little pots have "Did you know" facts on them such as "Did you know Dutch people are known to be the tallest people in Europe?" and "Did you know food takes 7 seconds to go from your mouth to the stomach!", as well as things such as their "Goodness Guarantee" or information about "Stronger Bones". So Petits Filous isn't just delicious, it's informative too!

I don't big the bigger pots so can't comment on their price, but the pack of 60g pots usually cost around £1.60 for a pack of 6 in my local supermarket, but can sometimes be found on offer for £1 a pack.

Summary: Ideal for kids and adults!
