... they are all pictured on the back. Just looking on the back I can see a pirate, a chef, a mermaid and a cowboy amongst others and they all have names. I suppose the idea is that kids can collect all the characters. My son did this briefly but I wasn't happy with his bedroon floor being strewed all over by empty yogurt packets, some of which would have had yogurt still in them. I suppose I could wash them out and give them back to the kids but they have enough tat already thank you very much without more plastic ...more

Premium Review Yoplait Petits Filous Frubes: Definitely one for the kids (422 words)

Frubes. If you've got children you may have come across these before and my two think they're a hit. Simply, Frubes are fromage frais not in pots but in little plastic tubes where you just tear off the top and suck out. Easy peasy. Made in France by Yoplait, this is the same stuff as Petit Filous, they are in fact Petit Filous Frubes! They come in a box of 9, each tube containing 40g of fromage frais and they is a mixture of 3 flavours: peach, strawberry and forest fruits. The box is predominantly purple, with the Frubes logo in yellow and a selection of fruit. Each Frube is a different character and they are all pictured on the back. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Convenience or a cop out?.....You decide! (392 words)

Frubes are a wonderful if not 'money grabbing' invention from the makers of Petit filous. For around£2.20 you can buy a box of nine Frubes which contain 40g of yogurt in each. Inside a tube like wrapper is a whole load of fromage frais that is sitting there just waiting to be eaten. They come in thre different flavours and these are forest fruits, strawberry and peach and are a great source of calcium for the young and old! In a way these Frubes are a bit of a cop out but on the other hand they are a bit of a miracle invention. They combine the goodness of a fromage frais and the convenience of a chocolate bar. The tube they come in is easy to open although ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Yoplait Petits Filous Frubes: Delicious Yoghurts In Squeezy Tubes. (463 words)

I recently received a packet of these from my Mum who advised me that they were 'ideal as an ice pop' according to the packet anyway. These were promptly devided up between the freezer and the fridge as I was a little sceptical (and rightly so!) that this would work. These are available from Tesco stores or www.tesco.co.uk for £2.10 although they are currently on 3 for 2 and were half price when I received them from my Mum. You will get 9 x 40g pouches of yoghurt for your money and these are a pretty nice snack after lunch or after dinner so 9 will go quite a long way. You will receive 3 x Strawberry, 3 x Forest Fruit, 3 x Peach and this is fromage ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tube of goodness (465 words)

I have just recently discovered frubes, when they were on a buy one get one free off at the co-op. My daughter loves yoghurts and I thought these would be a little bit more grown up than a pot. I also like the idea that they are in tube form and don't require a spoon to eat. The description: The frubes come in a purple cardboard box with frubes written in yellow bubbled letters. The box has a puzzle on the back for the kids to do when the box is empty. Inside the box there are 9 tubes of yoghurt with 3 sets of flavours. The flavours are: X3 strawberry X3 forest fruits X3 peach Each tube contains 40g of yoghurt, which ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Yoplait Petits Filous Frubes: Great way for children to get calcium (370 words)

Frubes are sold in boxes of 9 and there are often some very good offers on at the supermarkets for 2 for 1 or 2 for £3.00 as the rrp of a box of frubes is around £3.00 which is not cheap! They are fruit yoghurt with no bits that come in a variety of flavours including strawberry, peach and forest fruits. They often do them in special edition packs such as Dr Who or High School Musical. Rather than being in traditional pots they are in plastic tubes with a tear of part at the top. This therefore makes them very handy to take with you, put in lunchboxes and are a great snack on the go. ****Ingredients**** Include fromage ...  Read the complete review
