We were working in the garden yesterday - I was sorting out wood to stock pile for the log burner and Dave was building a waterfall (and why not?) - so neither of us felt like cooking lunch. I had tidied the freezer earlier and noticed that we had two packs of Young's Low Fat Ocean Crumble so I decided to pop them in the oven to cook whilst we continued working. The packaging The meal itself is in a black container which appeared to be made from some sort of cardboard as it went soggy when I tried to wash it! Youngs Low Fat Ocean Crumble ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I am one of the worlds laziest cooks, and am always on the look out for healthy-ish ready meals that can be bunged in the microwave, left for ten minutes and then eaten straight away, so when I saw this low-fat ocean crumble in Morrisons for the bargain price of £1, I decided it was definitely worth giving a go, and therefore into the trolley it went.... If you read my review for Admiral's pie, you will know that I bought this Young's Ocean Crumble accidentally. I thought I was picking up two pies. (So much for fish improving your brainpower!) The box shows a plate of the Ocean Crumble sitting rather improbably on a beach. It also shows the crumble sitting neatly and squarely on it's plate. I'd be fascinated to know how they got it onto the plate so neatly because when I tried to get it out it sloshed all over the plate and looked a mess.
