Vera Wang: Men, Eau De Toilette ... Wang For Men is a classy men s eau de toilette, with a variety of ingredients combining to make a deep, sophisticated smell. Green mandarin leaf and yuzu zest make for an initial fresh, citrus-like smell and the combination of nutmeg, leather, anise, tobacco and sandlewood build a strong but pleasant aroma. I first smelled Vera Wang For Men when a visiting friend was wearing it, and even though I m a big fan of D&G Homme and Chanel Allure, I decided to give this a try myself (with approval from my wife!). Givenchy: Very Irresistible Givenchy, Eau de Toilette ... bought this perfume whilst on holiday, I like sweet smells but the usual perfume I wanted was too expensive so I went for this after the sales lady sprayed some onto the test paper. I got the large bottle, a body creme and a small handy sized bottle. The small bottle is perfect for my handbag and doesn t spray too much so it s lasting a while. The smell is a sweet smell but not too sickly, it s nice for day and night however don t spray too much as it can be a bit overwhelming during the day. The cap of the bottle can be a bit fiddly and mine doesn t stay on very well (in my handbag), you have to make sure you get the cap the right way for it to click . The bottle ... Lacoste: Touch of Pink, Eau de Toilette ... used to love this perfume... it was my favourite because it lasted all day, it was suitable for day and night wear and it had a distinctive floral and jasmine smell. I stopped using it when I suddenly developed an allergic reaction to the perfume, but I do still spray it on my clothes. A friend of mine also developed a similar reaction to the perfume so I presume it could be a fairly common problem. Anyway, it does looks ok on the dressing table (not as nice as other perfumes, but it looks ok), the pink coloured bottle stands out and the scent is strong enough to have an impact when you spray it on your clothes rather than on the skin.
