	Tom Ford: Black Orchid, Eau de Parfum For Women ... first tried this fragrance when it launched in 2006. It is such a fantastic fragrance but definitely takes some getting used to. It mainly smells of strong musk and spice but you definitely notice the floral notes and it develops into quite a sweet scent. Its bottle was inspired by lalique glassware and is extremely attractive. I love the way it feels in my hand and the black and gold design looks great on my dresser. The scent lasts the whole day and I tend to spray it into the air, then walk through it as otherwise it can be quite intense on the skin. 	Tom Ford: Black Orchid, Eau de Parfum For Women ... got this as a present, and didn t try for a year. It is presented in a quite heavy, quite bland bottle. I thought it looked more like an aftershave bottle than a ladies perfume bottle, so until 2 months ago I didn t give it an honest try. When spraying on, it has a very strong smell, so you need to be careful of how much you use when applying. I didn t like it on the first smell, its one of those fragrances that grows on you. I wasn t too keen about the strength as I prefer more subtle smells, but after a couple of minutes you can appriciate the wonderful, yet unique smell. I remember popping into Debenhams to get free samples and I saw a small counter set up for Tom Ford Black Orchid where hostesses were handing out samples.
