When it comes to buying fragrances I just adore it and it's one of my favourite pastimes. I'm really very picky and up until recent times I have only bought highly expensive designer fragrances. However lately I have come across some really nice cheaper branded stuff which I can use liberally and it's great because I've slowed down on using all my designer stuff up (I.E in the daytime when nipping to the shops etc lol) and can now keep my 80 quid a bottle stuff for more special occasions!
I came across this fragrance actually in pound-land and then saw it in a few discount stores after that. I saw it in Wilkinson's and Home Bargains and T.J Hughes for £1.99 a bottle so for some reason this is on sale in loads of places in Coventry at the moment. Me, well I tested it out first and really liked it's light daytimey fragrance so I grabbed a bottle!
So this perfume was released in June 2008 along with the men's version in support of the Olympic games. The packaging is yellow paying homage to China and sort of looks Oriental. The bottle is bright yellow as well, long and wider at the bottom becoming more fluted to the top of it with a yellow plastic push button sprayer to the top of it and covering that neatly is a yellow plastic lid that easily pulls on and off and integrates well with the whole style and design of the bottle. On the front of the bottle all in white writing I'm told it's Adidas 'Limited Edition' 20008 Energy Game Eau De Toilette. That's simply it for the info stakes! It doesn't look an expensive bottle but it doesn't feel cheap to hold or anything like that to be fair to it, it's neat and compact and sleek and is bright and cheerful and suits the name Energy very' well indeed!
Really nice, uplifting, girly, airy and although airy very fragrant and quite strong ta boot. So I'd describe this as a flowery and fruity aroma that's very fresh and breezy. I can smell flowers and researching this product for the purpose of this review I've find out that this does contain lotus flower and magnolia. The fruity notes I detect are crisp apples and oranges that gives it a slight zest that 'pop' the fragrance of flowers out very well, there is musky osmanthus in there too which gives it a slight earthiness and the unusual ingredient in this is basil that really adds a slight twist to the whole affair. It's very well blended indeed and as I said earlier I feel all round calling it 'energy' is a good name for it!
It sprays out quite moist and fast, dries quickly and you can't feel it in any way shape or form on your skin once applied. Fragrance wise the smell actually stays put all day long, fragrance's for hours upon hours till you wash it off so no need to keep 'topping up' you simply spray and it works for you all day long with ease.
Long lasting in the bottle and on the skin and if you like the scent (test it first) it's a great day-time perfume particularly for summer days in my opinion. It's quite a bold scent but it isn't in your face and I heartily recommend it, particuarly for a pound a go like what I paid for it!
If you can't find it in shops near you do look for it on online at discount stores as plenty of online shops are selling this at the moment!
