This Fruity Rhythm Eau de Toilette by Adidas is quite good quality. I would not recommend this fragrance for formal occasions and the like, however it is a fragrance which I would describe as 'cheap and cheerful'. I think it is a good fragrance for going to the gym, or for relaxed days at home, but it is not a fragrance which is out to impress. The price for this fragrance is very reasonable, and is not too much money to pay for it. It has a nice, fresh, fruity smell, which is very summery, and which makes you feel a little more awake just by smelling it. Being made by Adidas is probably a clue for it to be used while out doing exercise, and I think that it is a good fragrance for this. You can still smell the fragrance after at last half a day of wearing it, which is very good.
Am not trying to be sarcastic with that title, but if you've read my reviews then you will see that I tend to switch from a lot of different Perfumes. A label or brand name doesn't get my attention, I like to smell all sorts, and it helps if it is that bit cheaper, as if I don't like it then it isn't a huge waste. I got this in my local Savers. They don't have a huge amount of Perfumes in here, apart from some big brand named ones, but there is a few Adidas ones and other more cheaper ones that are probably your typical teenage ones. This 50ml bottle cost me £3.99 which I thought was a good price. it didn't look all that cheap and nasty either, and I think this would make a nice looking present if you were trying to watch your money. This comes in a simple light pink box which only has the branding on the front really. The bottle is like the Dooyoo picture - as always, but I would say it looks quite tall in the picture, and mines was more a dumpy bottle. The colour of pink is nice and the overall shape is alright. But enough about how it looks, how does it smell? It's quite a nice smell. It isn't jsut about Fruity scents in here as there is some Sandalwood and Rose too, but the rest of the scent seems to be Blackberries and perhaps other kind of berries. This has a sparkling scent as well, so makes me think of Pink Champagne in a way. When this was first sprayed it smelt pretty strong and I wasn't so sure about it. I thought it smelt a bit like Hairspray until it dried onto your skin and warmed. I gave 4 squirts of this onto my wrists - I wasn't bothering how much I used really. and it was a strong enough scent. It settles down quickly and I could still smell this for a couple of hours afterwards, but after 3 hours I couldn't smell it at all. This was a nice scent. I will be using the bottle up and I would be tempted to buy this again perhaps. It's just a nice simple Fruity scent. Go on, give it a go.
I would not ordinarily buy an Eau de Toilette for myself, as I prefer perfume. The Fruity Rhythms was bought for me as a gift, however. Firstly I must say that an Adidas fragrange would not have been my first choice if I was purchasing a new scent, but when I got a whiff of this one I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a sharp, body spray-like scent - heavy on the chemicals and not at all evocative of anything natural. While Adidas is not yet in a position to rival the likes of Chanel and Chloe however, this fragrance nevertheless has its attributes. Personally I was pleased to learn that rather than the Fruity Rhythms I had been expecting, this scent was more reminiscent of a summer garden in the evening. One of the most pervading notes is sandalwood, with pink rose not far behind. As the spray settled on my skin however, I detected a whiff of blackberry and plum. This Eau de Toilette definitely becomes more pleasant the longer you wear it, although as with many scents in this price range, I found I had to reapply it after a few hours as its presence faded rapidly. If you apply a few squirts of the fragrance it might last up until lunch time, but unless it is reapplied it is unlikely to be noticed when you reach the afternoon. One of the more surprising things about this scent was how very light and feminine it was. For a brand like Adidas, with its connotations of lycra-based wear and high-octane activity, you might not expect so gentle a fragrance to be offered. I found this to be an almost flirty fragrance, redolent of morning orchards and fresh bouquets. The one complaint I might make is that it is perhaps too floral a scent considering the title. If you are looking for an inexpensive spray that is light enough for informal events or a quick trip out, this might be right up your street.
