Both my husband and myself got some lovely toiletry sets as gifts at Christmas Time, with my husband being given a gift set from the well-known "Adidas" brand. The gift set contained items such as a 100ml EDT spray and a matching shower gel, all with the same "Team Force" fragrance. This review will discuss my thoughts about the Adidas Team Force Eau De Toilette.
The 100ml bottle of Team Force EDT can be purchased from various stockists, including www.amazon.co.uk, where the current price is around £6, with free delivery.
The packaging is nice enough, but is fairly simplistic. The familiar Adidas branding is bold and eye-catching, but my husband's bottle looks a bit different to that shown on Dooyoo. The sides of the bottle are curved, which allows the bottle to feel quite chunky. The bold 'Team Force' branding looks appealing and masculine thanks to the colours used.
I am able to detect the product's aroma easily, whilst my husband is wearing it. With a strong, spicy 'core', the aroma is very strong in its initial stages. This spicy scent has something of a notable 'tang' within it, and this reminds me of a citrus-based scent. Looking at the scent's description online, I can see that it does actually contain orange and grapefruit notes, so these may well be responsible for this 'thread' in the fragrance's overall 'voice'.
There is a notable refreshing 'edge' to the scent too, and this is evident from the spiciness in the scent; this allows it to feel quite revitalising, I think.
Whilst strong, and bold, the scent does not feel 'heady', nor is it over-powering. This has made it the perfect addition to my husband's 'everyday' collection; the scent feels more 'muted' than other scents that he owns, and so it is suitable for more everyday occasions.
True, the product doesn't feel as 'special' as some of the other fragrances in my husband's collection, but for the price paid, I wouldn't expect it to.
I think that the Adidas Team Force scent is probably suitable for a variety of age groups; it feels quite 'mainstream' in terms of its appeal, and I don't think that it feels overly 'trendy' in the way that other scents do.
In terms of longevity, the Team Force EDT performs quite well, and I am still able to detect a hint of its spicy 'core' scent on the skin in the evening, even though my husband never reapplies his chosen fragrance throughout the course of the day. I think that this result is fairly impressive, especially when the product's low purchase price is considered.
The Adidas Team Force Eau De Toilette has caused no irritation or sensitivity to my husband's skin during or after use.
Taking everything into account, I would repurchase this scent for my husband again in the future; it is pleasant and refreshing, and it lasts well throughout the day.
