Agent Provocateur Eau de Parfum
Advantages: Sexy, luxurious and long lasting
I already own too many perfumes and there are so many that I already like that I try not to buy any new ones unless I sample them and really like them. I first bought some Agent Provocateur Eau de Parfum when I saw it in SemiChem a couple of years ago for only £14.99 and I snapped a bottle up as I knew it was much more expensive than this in places such as Debenhams and the House of Fraser. I bought it as a gift as I thought that at that price it was a bargain and would make a lovely present for someone.
Unfortunately curiosity got the better of me and I ended up opening it and trying it out on myself and then fell in love with it and now have to buy myself a bottle every six months or so though I do try and wait until there are gift sets in the sales as the body lotion is also to die for. First of all the bottle is absolutely gorgeous and it comes in an oval shaped pink bottle which is made from porcelain rather than glass and is secured with a black bow that you need to remove before being able to push down on the spray applicator. It really is so feminine and lovely that I cannot imagine anyone not liking the design and it looks so classy and expensive.
For those who do not know Agent Provocateur is a luxury UK lingerie brand selling expensive knickers and bras based in London. I have visited the shop before and the stuff they sell is stunning but very expensive so the perfume is a nice way to get a bit of that luxury without having to spend hundreds on it.
The notes that are contained in this perfume include pure saffron oil, Moroccan rose oil, Egyptian jasmine, French mangnolia oil, amber and musk.
All the ingredients sound lovely and that is exactly what you get when you use this perfume. It is absolutely stunning to wear and so individual and distinctive that I can't think of one other perfume which smells the similar to this. I like to wear this as an evening scent if I am going somewhere special as it really lends itself well to evenings as it is heady and rich smelling and might be a bit too powerful for daytime wear.
Agent Provocateur say this is supposed to seduce, pleasure and provoke the senses and I honestly think this is a great description of what it does. This is such a grown up and sexy fragrance and I always feel really sexy when wearing this.
A couple of sprays is all it takes to completely envelope me in the fragrance and it lasts for ages. There is none of that spraying the perfume and then the fragrance disappearing within a couple of hours. I can wear this on a night out and still smell it on my skin the next morning.
All the notes really combine well to create a spicy yet floral fragrance that is both delicate but also powerful at the same time. This really has become one of my favourite perfumes over the last couple of years and it is likely to remain that as every time I smell it I fall in love with it all over again.
As well as this Agent provocateur also do a few other perfumes and while they are all nice especially the Matisse this the original is still the best by far and it comes highly recommended by me for women who are looking for a distinctive and sexy fragrance to wear.
